235/85-16 tires like the Kenda Karrier radial trailer tire # AM10501 will only work with rims that have a width range 6, 6-1/2, 7 and 7-1/2 inches. This tire will fit but it will stretch out the tire because an 8 inch rim is not a standard size.
Currently, we have rims with a 7-inch width that will fit 235/85-16 tires. An option to consider is the 8-inch # AM35099 tire and wheel as its tire size 235/85-16 load range F. See the link I attached for the rims with a 7-inch width.
