How can a PortaBote be Locked to a Roof Rack

I have a 10 foot Porta bote on my roof rack. How can I lock it so no body takes it while I am asleep in my tent?

Expert Reply:
You could use something as simple as the Soft Tie extension with combination lock # LS901 to secure the PortaBote to the roof rack of the vehicle. The strap has a steel cable that runs through the inside so it couldn't just be cut off. There is also a longer version, # LS301.
And another option is the traditional cable lock such as # e98891.
