These are great for all kinds of Yakima round bar applications. I have used them for many things outside their intended purpose. Great for strap or load stops, bolting on items not made by yakima. I used this particular pack to bolt the frame for an inflatable boat onto the rack for a cross country road trip. Having just the frame on the rack combined with the Yakima wind faring reduced noise and drag to almost none.
The Snap Around bracket worked great. Nice that the design includes removable inserts that adapt the bracket to different size tubes. Exactly what I needed to stabilize my bike rack. Thanks for making these available!
Just what I needed to mount a storage box on my bike rack.
Years ago, I bought a Yakima bike rack. My crossbars were stolen, so I bought two Thule crossbars at a local garage sale. My round mounting brackets would not fit around my square crossbars, so I thought I'd need to buy a Thule bike rack. I then was referred to your website by a friend. I found the snap around mounting brackets I needed, and ordered an additional two hex keys. The results were fantastic! As you can see, everything mounted just fine. Thanks, etrailer, for saving me $150!

Needed mounting brackets to install Yakima Saddles & Rollers on square Thule bars for my kayak.
etrailer was very helpful in product selection. The key to installation to conform to the square bar is removing the inner tabs on the bracket mount for a secure fit.
etrailer had exactly the obscure part I needed to complete a recent purchase of a roof rack on Craigslist. Their website and personal customer service were awesome. They also worked closely with me to use a shipping method that would end up in my post box and not abandoned near my front door. Highest recommendation!

Still working great a year later
I have an old set of Yakima Might Mounts 25H (Horizontal Model - not to be confused with the Universal Might Mounts) that I use on my 2000 Yakima Anklebiter Deuce (discontinued). Unfortunately, my Mighty Mounts do not work on the round bars. I was ecstatic to find these "snap around mounting brackets" which work perfectly on Yakima's round bars. I was able to utilize my old "Anklebiter". They are well made and look very durable. In addition, eTrailer customer service was great in answering my questions, taking my order, and their delivery was very quick.
We looked all over for these Yakima brackets and not only did you have them,but they were very reasonably priced. They arrived quickly and were exactly what we had expected, matching the others perfectly. Thank you for the great product and service!
The original Mighty Mounts for the round Yakima bars are no longer manufactured by Yakima, so what to do? Luckily, I found that etrailer.com had exactly what I was looking for and the brackets are being used for a wire basket carrier. This design, IMHO, is superior to the original Yakima design.
I used these to attach my Thule bike rack to my Yakima round bar roof rack on my camper. Worked like a charm!
This product is exactly what we needed to attach our Yakima SideWinder Deuce to a Volvo XC90 factory roof rack (with crossbars that are very similar to Thule classic square). Super fast shipment and delivery.
Yakima makes a good quality product which always works as advertised. etrailer.com has one of the largest inventory of Yakima parts that I have ever seen. If etrailer doesn't have it Yakima doesn't make it. Got good on line help.
