will this ball fit into a buyers pintle hitch I need an 1 1/8 shank on a 1 7/8 ball

The diameter of the shank of the # 63050 that you referenced is 1-1/8 inches like you said you need. The length of the shank is 2-13/64". You would need to compare that to your pintle to determine if it would fit.
