Updated 04/14/2015 | Published 04/12/2015 >
Question:
Can you recommend a WD Hitch for a 2013 Cayenne Diesel? Cayenne tow specs are 7,713 GVW and 617 tongue weight. Trailer is 2014 Airstream 25FB. Airstream specs are 7,300 GVW and 835 tongue weight. Thanks for your help.

Hopefully your Cayenne has a higher tongue weight rating than what you listed when used with a weight distribution system. Otherwise there is not safe way I can recommend you tow a trailer that exceeds it's towing capacities.
The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use.
If the tongue weight you listed of 835 is the loaded weight the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System # RP66084 that you referenced would be an excellent choice as it has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs and features the only sway control on the market that works to prevent sway before it starts.
