Question:
Im looking for a custom no frame drill fifth wheel mount kit for a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 quad NOT Mega cab. Would that be Rails: HT31413-686? The Q and A section talks about newer model 2500 and 2500 trucks, not mine. Thanks!

You are correct. The Husky Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, part # HT31413-686 would work for your 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 truck.
The only drilling needed when installing this kit is for the base rail bolts in the bed of your truck.
Another custom Bracket and Base Rail kit that you may be interested in checking out is the Reese Custom Install Kit, # RP50040-58. The difference between these two kits is that this kit requires 10 bolts to mount to the truck bed which means you will need to drill more holes. The Husky rails require 4 bolts.
Either of these installation kits will support the same type of fifth wheel hitches.
