The best way to carry a girl's or women's bike on a hanging style bike rack like the Thule Apex # TH9025XT is to use a frame adapter bar like part # 64005. The bar spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, providing a level attachment point for the bike rack. This allows the bike to be carried level, which maximizes the ground clearance. As long as the distance between the seatpost and the handlebar gooseneck is greater than 16 inches, the adapter bar will work great.

Some folks manage to finagle a girls bike onto the rack without using an adapter bar, but doing so would cause the bike to be carried at an angle which can eat into your ground clearance.
