Will Weld-on Spare Tire Carrier Fit on an Aluma Salt Shield

Wondering if this would work on the front of a Aluma salt shield with a 8inch 5-4.5 wheel ?

Spare tire carrier # 413200 is normally installed on gooseneck trailers and welded into place. But you could use it on your Aluma Salt Shield provided that the surface it is mounted to can support the weight of the spare. Any welding should be performed by a qualified professional welder.
