Jeff Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement 12 volt step motor for the Kwikee Revolution Series Electric RV Steps. Now, this part will replace the motor on your Kwikee Electric RV Steps. As we mentioned, it is designed to fit the Revolution Step Series. This will attach to the linkage that's underneath your step mounting plate to provide power for the extension. You can see it does include the two pin wiring harness that'll plug in.
The motor itself provides the power to extend and retract your Kwikee Steps, and it does offer the automatic shutdown feature that retracts the steps if they strike an obstacle during extension. It is a very simple installation, you can see it comes with the included hardware, a nice set of instructions. Basically, you'll see the three holes here, comes with the three bolts and the three spacers that are used to install this. Now, the voltage on this is 12 volts. Dimensions on it, from this end to this end, is gonna be right about seven inches long.
The width, from about here to here, it's gonna be about 3 7/8 inches wide, and the total height on this is about two inches tall. But that should do it for the review on this replacement 12 volt step motor for the Kwikee Revolution Series Electric RV Steps..
As it generally happens, the steps to our Navion failed the day before we were leaving for a trip. Called etrailer and talked to Stacey A who arranged to have the part shipped to our destination campground. The part was waiting for us when we arrived and installation went smoothly. The steps have been working fine ever since! Thanks etrailer and Stacey A for your prompt and expert support.
My RV is a 2021 Winnebago Ekko. The old step motor was skipping gears (a problem internal to the motor gear box) so the steps would not lock in the up or down position. The motor would stutter as it encountered resistance. The total repair took about 10 minutes. Spent more time shoveling out snow than doing the actual motor swap. Used an impact driver and socket bit, no other tools. The only annoying thing was the challenge of keeping the screws and spacers in place while I shimmied under the steps. Ultimately held the motor in place, inserted the top screw and spacer, and threaded it slightly to hold it in place. Then I threaded the other 2 screws, and finally wiggled the steps up a bit to engage the gearing. Then I tightened the 3 screws and plugged in the power. Tested perfect; problem solved. The instructions in the package were clear and helpful.

First of all Melissa was very pleasant to talk with. She was able to locate the part I needed and told me what day to expect it. She also notified me when it was delivered which was much appreciated. I just got done attaching the motor and to my delete, I now have working steps.
Have installed motor, was easy to do. So far so good. Service was awesome.
Getting the correct part was the answer. Called another vendor which supplied a few of the incorrect parts. Insanity averted after contacting ETrailer. Sales staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Had to make some modifications due to gear being to tall. But worked fine.
I was thrilled to receive my step motor today only 2 days after ordering it. It was a beautiful motor, exactly what I needed. I can't wait to install it and get my RV steps working again.
Etrailer is a breath of fresh air; the products, service, communication is awesome. We had previously ordered this motor from another vendor who sent the wrong product, twice, and then stopped communicating with us; and this over a period of 7 weeks. I will update my review after installing and testing the step motor.

Good news: the LC380073 part fit perfectly and resolved the problem with my steps on our 2014 Winnebago Via. Bad news: I bought from etrailer and paid a premium price as the video by Jeff from etrailer reviewing the part said that "the part was made in the USA". But the part that I received had a sticker saying "made in China". I had seen many similar parts on[line] at 1/2 the price, that were made in China but opted to pay more here for USA made.

Motor failure from new purchase was corrected a new motor item packaged and received as per conversations with customer service reps arranged for me. Replacement motor received earlier than anticipated which made my day as why I always do business with etrailer. Thanks to all involved taking the next step for resolving this issue.
Same as OEM part!!! Beware there are some less expensive motor - gearbox assemblies that other sellers claim on that big box online site are replacements for 1010002326 and they are not. The gear and shaft are not the correct thickness and length in these misrepresented items. Appears etrailer gets their part from Kwikee Lippert as it arrived in an inner box with Lippert name on it. The etrailer price was less than Kwikee Lippert and it fits perfectly. Would have given 5 stars but waited 8 days for the part to arrive, granted it was over the Labor Day holiday for one of those days, using standard free shipping.
Installed in a 2014 Winnebago View 24V. The motor was an exact replacement of the original. The included instructions were detailed and made the job easy. The price seems high, but after shopping around a bit I didn't find a lower price that would justify buying it from another vendor, given my satisfaction with etrailer so far. I really appreciate all of the helpful technical information that etrailer provides on their website.
The part was just what I needed for my 2017 Vista Kwikee (Powergear,Lipert) steps. After 2 years of occasionally tapping the old one with a hammer it finally died completely and this one was a perfect fit. The instructions from Powergear were placed in the box and they were very helpful. I paid for next day shipping and ETrailer Staff got right on it and it made it to my home the next morning. Thanks Josh and his teammate in shipping for a great job! John
