Question:

Step is a Coachstep double electric step. The old part number on the motor is “gmx 300-1406. Manufactured 02-03-2010. The motor works fine but the metal cog drive that sits in the aluminum housing has stripped the aluminum seat. The step will not extend or retract. Is the unit sold as a complete unit or can the aluminum housing be replaced ?

Thanks for the picture! Based on that I was able to determine that the kit you need is the part # LC380073. The cog or gear you mentioned is not available separately so this would be only way to fix your steps.
