Motor for Kwikee Revolution Steps

Question:

I ordered this replacement part from another source and the gear and shaft were 1/4 inch shorter and hence did not engage. I don’t know if this is an isolated defective device or if the specs have changed. In the attached pic, the original motor is the one with the longer shaft and gear. The “OEM” replacement from another dealer is the shorter one. If your motor looks like my original , I want to order it. If it looks like the new part 1010002326 it will not work on my steps. Thanks for your help.

The correct replacement motor is going to depend on what steps you have. Is it the Kwikee Revolution steps? If so, the correct replacement motor is # LC380073, which is Kwikee Part Number 1010002326.

Do you have the Kwikee New IMGL Steps manufactured after October 2005? If so you need Replacement Motor # LC379147. Unfortunately a picture is not going to be the best way to find a replacement motor, you need to know what steps you have and choose the right motor from there.
