Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this replacement lock cylinder for your UWS toolboxes with the square paddle handle only. Now folks, this will replace a damaged lock cylinder on your UWS toolbox, again, with those square paddle handles only, it will not work with the drawer slide, dog boxes, T handle, or the push button locks. Now folks, this is key to CH501. You're gonna get one lock cylinder and two keys that are keyed alike, so again, you can see that engraving there. CH501, same thing with the spare key and on the lock core itself, very simple operation, the nut here's what you would tighten whenever you put it in place and obviously whenever you turn the key, you are turning the lock part there to lock it.

I had looked for several weeks trying to locate this particular lock with the CH501 key. Now, all the locks on my truck have the same keys. Thanks for the quick shipping.

We sold the truck that had the box which this lock went on, so I dont own it anymore, however, we were happy with it while we owned it.
This lock replacement was exactly what I needed and worked perfectly to replace the lock on my truck toolbox.
You have to detach the whole lock latch unit to install the new lock core, but once you do, the installation of the core itself couldn't be simpler. Fits perfectly and works as promised once re-installed.
