This stop collar automatically aligns the hitch pin holes on a hitch-mounted accessory and your 2" hitch. It's perfect for bike racks, cargo carriers, ball mounts, tow bars, or any other 2" accessory and it can be split and placed on the shank to avoid any impediments. It installs quickly and, once installed, it doesn't need further adjustment. Installing your favorite accessory in a trailer hitch receiver has never been easier.
The collar automatically aligns the hitch pin holes on your favorite 2" accessory and a 2" trailer hitch receiver every time you install it. It prevents you from having to bend down or stick your finger into the hole to check for alignment. It also eases the burden of installing a heavy accessory, like a cargo carrier, that's hard to wiggle forward or back in small increments.
The stop collar easily installs on most 2" accessories and once installed, it doesn't have to be adjusted - set it and forget it. To install, just slide the collar onto the accessory's 2" shank, insert the shank into your hitch, align the pin holes, slide the collar up against your hitch, and tighten down both hand knobs. If there are any impediments simply unscrew the knobs, split the collar into 2 pieces, and put it back together past the point of impediment.

Still holding alignment and working fine a year out!
Really have only used it once , but it came up perfectly aligned. Have it on my Blue Ox tow bars that aren't light. Used to be a real hassle getting it lined up with the hitch pin hole. but now easy.
Simple, effective design with perfect function. Slip the collar around your hitch bar before inserting your hitch into the receiver. Pin your hitch. Butt the collar against the receiver and tighten. Thereafter, hitch-pin hole alignment is always perfect. Excellent value.

After a year of use, the hitch pin alignment collar has proved its worth. Ive used my hitch often. Pin alignment is always a breeze with this collar. Its been steadfast.

Still love it! Easy to use and a time saver
I never have to work at finding the engaging position for my hitch pin. This saves a lot of bending over and back and forth movement in attempting to line up the holes.
easy to put on, will make putting the carrier into the hitch much easier. will be using this on multiple devices as it is easy to remove.

Quite useful! it only take minutes to transfer to another carrier and saves immeasurable aggrevation trying to get things lined up.
It’s the perfect mechanism for those trailer hitches that weigh as much as a railroad coupler. Put your hitch on with the pin inserted in the hole, set the hitch pin alignment collar on and you never have to push and pull that monster to get the pin aligned again. Just slide it on up to the collar and bingo your hitch pin aligned. Absolutely ingenious!

This is the best solution since the invention of the hitch itself! It aligns the pin hole every time without fail.
Works perfect to place a large, heavy bike rack (VelociRax) so that the pin aligns every time. A real frustration saver.
Only one over three items were shipped. The very large box was largely empty with only an orange flag. The key item I ordered, the Truck Load Extender , and trailer pin were not in the box.
If you like to be sure that your accessory is seated properly, there is no guessing with this alignment collar. Love it to make sure my bike rack is secured. No guessing or double-check.
Didn't need this as cargo carrier came with one! I must have missed that in the description.

What else can I say; etrailer is the place I go to buy what I need!
I recently purchased a Bully Hitch w/ light from you, but forgot to add to that order the etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar that tightens up the hitch from
not completely fitting my receiver.
This device is not useful at all. Even though I tightened it completely after positioning it, the collar invariably moves with the least little bump. I have a very heavy Kuat bike carrier, so it is very hard to install without bumping the collar. My wife put a small white dot on the hitch tongue and I just move the rack until it aligns. The collar is worthless. Thanks for asking for this review because it is reminding me to take it off the rack, the darn thing is heavy enough so every ounce counts
The most difficult part of installing this trailer wiring kit was removing all of the junk I accumulated in my rear compartment to access the connector harness.
Once I did it only took like 3 minutes to completely install and put the floor back in place.
It works flawlessly, but here's a little hint - do not allow your trailer 4-pin connector to be stored outside without a rubber insulating boot on ot to prevent corrosion or wasps from making a mud nest inside it. I use aluminum foil wrapped around in and dielectric grease.

Works well. I use it on a heavy e-bike rack. Speeds up putting the rack on. I push it still it stops and I know I am lined up for pin.
Easy to install. Etrailer Utube videos were very useful!
While I have yet to install the collar, it looks exactly like what I need to align the hitch as it is a struggle to get the pin through the receiver without getting on my knees and using a screwdriver to line up the holes. This should do the trick!

I would say good except I misplaced it and cant find it!
Very happy with this hitch. Arrived in perfect condition. I took it to Uhaul to get it installed, and they were also happy with it. They said it was a perfect fit for my Sportage, and they installed it in double quick time, apparently. I use the hitch to carry my 2-bike rack and I've never had a problem. Very sturdy.
Makes bike mount install easy to line up - minimal time to get bike mount plugged in .
Both these devices make my life a lot easier. Being older, the hitch is heavy and knowing it lines up the hitch pin perfectly on the first shot is great.

Being older this device has helped me align the hitch pin without having to keep moving the hitch. Great product. Little plastic wing on top of the screw broke off, but has not impacted the use of the unit .
Quality product. Easy to install. There is also online videos available for product information and installation.
Shipping box had some damage but that is expected with cardboard boxes. Other than a cut in the safety cable, everything was in excellent condition.
I bought both a bed over for my truck and a bike rack. I am very satisfied with both products. They shipped quickly, and kept me updated. I was provided with information in the event something went wrong, which it didn't...however, I knew who to call if it did. Get outfit to do business with

After a year of using this hitch alignment collar, I continue to be very satisfied. It is so easy to get the bike rack connected. The collar has held up very well. Highly recommend!
