How to Tell if etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar Will Fit with Hitch Accessory
Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 11/20/2024 >
Question:
How wide is this? I like the idea and I think it would work for most of my stuff at home, but some of them sit pretty close to the face of the hitch so I need to make sure this will still fit.

Hey Jose!
The etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar # e98942 is 1-3/16" wide so you'll need that much space from the face of your hitch receiver to any stops or "bends" in your accessories that would prevent this from fitting.
If you measure from the hitch pin hole to the face of the receiver on your vehicle and add 1-3/16" to that it will give you a distance to measure on your accessories to confirm fitment.

Hey Jose, did you get a chance to measure the space on your hitch to see if the alignment collar fits? Knowing how it worked could help others checking clearances for their accessories too.
