Installed easy enough on my 2020 odyssey. My van is used and apparently had a hitch already installed and removed. So I didn’t end up trimming the side splash panels as they were gone. Also two frame weld nuts were missing, so I had fun time fishing two of the hex bolts in there and tightening with some nuts from the hardware store.
This worked perfectly for my 2026 Honda Odyssey, and installation was pretty simple.
Easy bolt-on to my 2020 Honda Odyssey. Hitch has performed well, hasn’t budged even after taking four bikes on a rack from Ohio to Georgia and back.
We have had this on our vehicle for close to a year now. It is low profile, which is extremely important with how low the Odyssey sits. It has not affected our ride height at all. We used it for a few camping trips. It holds a good deal of weight from our cargo rack. Also, the customer service is phenomenal, which makes a big difference for us. This is the second time we have purchased hitch kits through etrailer.We are returning customers because of the price and customer service. Will probably buy another hitch/hitch receiver from them for whatever vehicle we purchase next. Highly recommend.

Its been as good as day one
Product arrived within 4 days after ordering late Friday afternoon during Quarantine season. Packaged well and no damage to the paint was found on the hitch. I installed the receiver hitch on my 2019 Honda Odyssey with my 14 year old son without issues. I bought the hitch specifically to put on a 2 bike rack. The etrailer video installation instructions available on onlinefor this exact hitch for the 2019 Odyssey is extremely helpful and spot on. Very happy overall with the experience and product.

It’s been a year and hitch works great for my Kuat 2 bike carrier. The 2 inch hitch is solid and stable for my mountain bike carrier. Paint still looks brand new on the hitch matte black. Would purchase again.
The hitch is well made and solid. I recommend watching the how-to videos to prepare for the install.
Everything showed up in good shape and all hardware was included. No issues with installation. Between the included paper instructions and the how to videos, I installed it in less than 1 hour. I’d recommend having someone help you lift/hold the receiver when installing, but a couple jack stands will work in a pinch.

Everything worked great for a 2025 Odyssey. Was able to bolt the exhaust side without removing muffler mount. On the other side, the panel that comes on the van from factory comes out easily and has a trim out panel to accommodate this hitch. Cut that off the panel and it allows reinstallation of the guard/panel after the hitch is bolted on. The box that the hitch shipped in was just about the perfect height to support the hitch and slide it into place. Put the hitch on the empty box to help with the install. Worked great!

Super easy to install. Did not have to jack the vehicle up. Instructions were clear and accurate. Although I did unhook the exhaust from the rubber hanger to give me more room to access and tighten the bolts. From start to finish, about an hour to install.
Clean finish, does not protrude beyond the bumper.

Excellent! Very easy to install as the vehicle was brand new and the OEM provided bolt lugs were clean. Used the provide instructions as well as YouTube videos. Have installed a couple of these so had some familiarity for the process.

I'm glad that I came across the etrailer website and purchased the trailer hitch for my Honday Odyssey 2019. The hitch is attached to the car snuggly and looks neat on the car. It looks very sturdy but weighs only 36 lbs. A couple of notes for future buyers:
* As mentioned by some other reviews, it does seem to be the case that the sensor for the hands-free trunk opening (i.e., by swinging your leg underneath the back of the car) is blocked by this hitch. I personally don't use that feature a lot so I'm not bothered by this.
* Although I see myself as a pretty hands-on person, the installation is clearly beyond me. I cannot even take down the panel due to the extremely tight hex screw on the car. I also cannot imagine myself lifting up this hitch and fit it to the car while lying down on the ground, with just < 1 foot of clearance. I had it installed in a car body shop with a reasonable price.
The product is good. The packaging was horrible wasn’t packaged correctly and was half sticking out of the box by the time I got to me.
A bit difficult for one person, but I was able to get the trailer hitch installed. The hitch looks very nice. Thanks etrailer !
Awesome hitch, went on in 30 minutes with just some ramps. Great product.
Hitch receiver came very quickly. The bolts were taped to the hutch to keep from getting lost in shipping. The installation video was perfect and made installation super easy.

2022 Odyssey. Installed it by myself in my driveway, took less than an hour. I deviated a little from the excellent video: drivers side, i didn’t completely remove the splash guard, i removed the first 3 fasteners and used a pair of aviation snips to cut away the part that was in the way. At first i didn’t drop the tailpipe, it seemed too difficult. And I was able slide the hitch bracket over the pipe and rest it there while i did the drivers side.
I had a problem getting the 4 bolts started because the fit was so close, so i used a grinder to make a small chamfer on the end of the bolts so they aligned with the holes more easily.
I really struggled to get the bolts in place above the tailpipe, so finally i dropped the pipe. It was easier than i thought, and putting it back on the hanger was a piece of cake.
The other thing i did differently was to add a smear of loctite on the bolts.
Overall i am very happy with the hitch.
Install was relatively easy. Clearance (minor scrapping) is an issue at times driving off of inclines. Probably wouldn't be an issue if the Honda Odysseys of this generation didn't have such a sag in the rear.

I am pleased with the receiver and the transaction. I installed on 2023 Odyssey by myself in about an hour. The video instructions were mostly in line with what I experienced. I had to make a small modification to the driver side splash guard to accommodate the receiver. This required me to cut about 1/4" slot out of the splash guard in order for the plastic rivets to line up. I used a utility knife to make the cut. Overall it is a pretty straightforward install. I do not plan to tow with this but rather attach cargo racks, bike racks, etc. I am pleased with the product and shipping time was very quick given the size/weight of the box. Thank you!!
