This transfer switch has been pre-wired to automatically change the primary source of AC current from shore power to generator or inverter power when available. To prevent electrical interruptions, the time delay circuit board allows the alternate power source to stabilize before a transfer occurs. Additionally, since the switch only accepts one active source, it protects your electrical system from dangerous backfeed that can damage your equipment.
The plastic case also has cord knockouts for other connections.
The switch wires to your shore power input and generator or inverter input. Both inputs are wired to the AC panel.
Additionally, the lever lock connectors make installation faster and more secure. Simply open the lever, insert the wire, and close.

The quick connectors makes for a loose connection. The connector switch came open so I used electrical tape to keep them closed. There should be instructions to determine which wires go to generator, shore and panel. I had to compare the old switch to determine the correct connection
Works like a charm although the time delay to switch over from shore power to Inverter power is longer than necessary. One of these days I'll try to jumper it out and see if that moves the needle to 5 stars.
I installed this transfer switch a year ago after my original one failed. The numbered wires made swapping out the unit relatively easy. All that was required was to match up the numbers and terminate the wires. Kind of like painting by numbers. I haven’t had any issues since installing.
Absolutely uneventful which is exactly what you're after. Straightforward installation and seamless switching, I have forgotten it's even there. Site and product met my needs and I'd conduct the purchase again.
Exact replacement for my 2005 Gulfstream Yellowstone RV. The quick flip connectors speeds up installation and is better than the factory installed wire nut caps. Shipped fast.

Bypassing the switch delay requires adding a jumper which is not provided.
Components mounted using pop rivets instead of screws.
Grounding bar mounted with a single rivet which is not very sturdy.
I am using this in a single axel camper trailer with a 2,000 Watt inverter. For my setup, I decided to disable the switching delay. This is not difficult but requires removing the cover off the PCB circuit. For the jumper, you have to figure something out. There's not much room to fit a jumper so you may need to get creative. I ended up soldering a wire across the jumper pins.
The 2 power inputs are marked Generator and Plug (shore power). When power is sensed on the Generator input, the switch connects it to breaker panel. For my application, I decided to reverse these connections. So, when I plug in to shore power, it disconnects the inverter. This is so the battery charger is running whenever connected to shore.
That brings me to the one thing I hadn't thought of when I started this project. The charger was connected to the electrical panel. This was no good because there would be a power loop: Inverter => Charger => Batteries => Inverter
So, I had to disconnect the charger from the breaker panel and connect it directly to the shore power line. Also, to be safe, I added a small breaker box with 15A breaker for the charger.
Quick flip connectors were loose and needed to be secured with electrical tape.

Ordered 6/13, was delivered 6/24. etrailer said, in gaslight speak, texted “ not our problem”. Had I ordered w/ Amazon it would have arrived much sooner than any 11 days. Hey etrailer, it’s not 1995.
The transfer switch was exactly what I needed and the added quick attach wire assembly enabled me to change it out in about 10 minutes. Great product, arrived quickly, and fixed my RV power issue in minutes. Thanks etrailer.

Sounds like the perfect quick fix!
This product worked flawlessly. Easy to read and wire. We found the best location and wired so easily i can honestly say this was the most strait forward product I bought. I did call tech support for one question before buying but never anything else. We are really enjoying our Van with shore power, inverter, and generator if needed.

These are great switches at a great price. I've installed quite a few as replacements. This one was for my personal RV. I added a generator, so this was necessary to flip between shore power and the generator. It was a tight fit in the space, but works well.
