Question:
I have a PD4590 and have it hooked up for shore/generator power. I am wondering if I can hook it up to a solar system instead through the power leads. That way all my A/C outlets and 12 v items do not have to be rewired and I would already have fuses and breaker. Thank you in advance for the help.

No, you cannot wire the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center # PD4590K18LS8 (PD4590) to a solar system. Solar can only be wired directly to a charge controller and then directly to a battery. It can't be wired any other way.
You would need to get an inverter like the # 34278157 wired to a transfer switch # PD5110010Q before the panel to be able to reuse everything.
