Can The PD5110010Q Transfer Switch Be Mounted Vertically Or Horizontally

Question:
I recently ordered a PD 5110010Q automatic transfer switch for my motorhome. I am reviewing the installation instructions. They state that the unit is to be mounted on a “flat” surface. My question is can the unit be mounted in a vertical orientation eg: on a wall surface?

Hello Sam, thanks for getting in touch, and for your recent order. The # PD5110010Q transfer switch can be mounted vertically or horizontally. As long as it is securely mounted to a flat surface where it won't move around during travel you will be good to go. The picture below shows an example of a vertical installation.
