Troubleshooting RV Transfer Switch That Works When Plugged In But Not When Unplugged

Question:
when plug into ac power have all 12v things, when unplug have nothing

Hey Bruce, it sounds like there could be a number of things going on. I'd suggest starting by checking the wiring first and make sure that everything is connected correctly and nothing is loose. I'd also recommend checking your ground connections and making sure it's connected properly and in good working order.
If your wiring all looks good, then there's a chance that it could be a faulty transfer switch and you'd need to replace it.
