Question:
I have upgraded to lithium batteries and a Progressive Dynamics 4100 Series RV Converter. I want to wire in an inverter, not clear how to avoid a charging loop. Is there a wiring diagram available to help me with this? Thanks

Hey Richard welcome back! You're going to need a transfer switch like item # PD5110010Q along with an inverter. The transfer switch will allow power to come from two different sources. When you disconnect your shore power or if the power were to go out it will automatically begin to pull power from the inverter.
Since you have the Progressive Dynamics 4100 Series RV Converter PD4135K, I recommend the Progressive Dynamics 2000 Watt Inverter item # PD64FR. I have linked the installation instructions below and there are a couple of detailed wiring diagrams depending on the orientation you want to go with.
Please note if you are not experienced with electrical systems, I do recommend having a professional install these components.

Hey Richard, how did things go with wiring the inverter and transfer switch into your Progressive Dynamics 4100 setup? Your results could really help others trying to avoid the same charging loop issue.
