The fan guard protects your fan from water and debris when mounted on the side of your RV. The guard slides over your vent with the solid end facing up to block rainwater and allow run-off, while the slotted end faces down to allow ventilation. The push-button handle lets you open and close the lid of your vent with ease - no hand-cranking needed. Simply push the button and push up to open the lid, or pull down to close the lid. Releasing the button automatically locks the lid in place. When the lid is closed, it provides a seamless, low-profile appearance.

Product is well made of heavy plastics. Easy to install once you get over the fear of cutting into your vehicle. Did not hook up to power yet to see how fan operates. Looks good on roof of vehicle.
