You could technically install the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K in the roof of your mini van.That being said, the main issue is going to be the mini van's roof thickness. Since the roofs on vehicles are significantly thinner than those found on RVs or trailers, the vent assembly will stick down several inches from the roof/ceiling, limiting your overhead space.

A much better option to add a roof vent to your mini van would be the MaxxFan Dome Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-03812B. It's smaller (6 inch diameter), but as long as the thickness of your roof is at least 1 inch, and you've got the space, you could even install two of these. This option will look nicer and be a much better fit.
