Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement entry step gear for your Kwikee Electric RV Steps. This is going to replace the gear of the motor table assembly for your Kwikee Series 24 and 25 RV Steps. This gear will help to push the steps out and pull them back in. And this is a Kwikee product, so you can trust that it is going to work with your steps. You're not going to have to worry about fit issues or anything like that.Just to give you a little extra reassurance, I can show you the dimensions here, looking just over eight inches, probably eight and a quarter of an inch in total width there.
And then as far as our height, I'm going to call it right about five and five eights of an inch.It is made here in the USA. So you can trust that it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US and like I said, it is a Kwikee product, so will work with your Kwikee Series 24 and 25 Electric RV Steps. You're not going to have to worry about being compatible or not. It is going to work for those.It does come with the one-year warranty. The first one year warranty is going to cover a lot of things. So give us a call if it doesn't work, but I really don't think you're going to have any problems. I needed the gear plate fast to get my stairs back in working. I did a google search, found the gear plate listed on the website and placed my order. I paid for the one day shipping and it was packed, shipped and on my front door within 24hrs. It was a perfect fit and had my stairs opening and closing smoothly.

The part appears to be exactly what I needed and ordered. The shipping packaging was not sufficient for a heavy metal part. Rips and exposed parts at delivery were concerning.

Stairs wouldn't retract all the way in and stuck out a little too far for me. Went about replacing the motor and noticed the pinion was worn along with the big gear. Ordered the gear from etrailer arrived on time and put it back together and works like new.
The part works great, but your customer service was amazing. Lauren was incredibly helpful and made sure I got the part for an important deadline.
The Kwikee replacement gear is still working like new and is being used daily since we have a non working relative that had to move into our motorhome. Hopefully they will be moving out sooner than later so we can use it again for vacationing...
Service was great.
Correct part and delivered in a reasonable amount of time.
A little bit pricey, but it is kinda rare application so you have to get it where you can.

Perfect replacement part for our Georgetown RV steps. The old one stripped out.
This is the second one in less than a year that I have had to replace. I hope this one is better than the last one because it cost a lot and is only available through Lippert. I have tried to ask about a warranty but no one at etrailer will answer me back.
After one year of replacing the gear and bushing (which I also bought from etrailer), steps are working like new.
I purchased the gear to replace a bad gear on my motor home. The gear fit like it should. I had NO issues installing this.
etrailer comes through again.
Product arrived quickly and fit perfectly. Saved us a lot of money to be able to just order the part we needed not the entire replacement motor with gears.

Fit perfect. Needed to replace bolt that is used to attach stair arm to gear. Also there were nylon supports that this gear rides on you should replace while your at it. Install it was easy if you remove whole assembly. Only has four bolts hold it to stair assembly. Makes much easier to do this gear and motor.
The gear was the correct part and worked great, but the packaging for shipping could have been better.The threads on the gear broke through the envelope and bag that the gear was in.
