Angled Bracket Makes for Easy Hookup
These particular tie-downs are designed with an angled bracket that gives you more clearance between the tie-down anchor points and your truck's fenders. This extra space makes it much easier to attach and tighten your turnbuckles (sold separately) when you're securing your camper.
No-Drill Installation
These clamp-on tie-downs install quickly and easily, with no drilling or modification to your truck required. Because they're mounted in the bed instead of on the frame or body of your truck, you don't need any kind of fancy mechanical background to get this job done. You just need to slide the hold downs over the rails of your truck and clamp them down with T-bars and hex bolts.
The fact that they simply clamp on means that you can remove these tie-downs when you're not hauling your camper, leaving no trace. Use the provided neoprene pads on the T-bolts and tie-downs where they will make contact with your truck to make sure no scratches or dents will be left behind either.
It's important that the tie-downs on your truck line up with the anchors on your camper at the correct angle to ensure a secure hold. Ideally the tie-downs should be on the outside of your camper's anchor points, but they can be on the inside as well, just as long as they're not lined up with each other.
Securing your Camper
To secure your camper to your truck, you'll also need a tie-down hardware package consisting of turnbuckles, S-hooks, and chains (TDHP - sold separately). This hardware attaches the anchors on your camper to the tie-downs on your truck to keep your camper safely mounted. Once you tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!), you'll be good to hit the road.

I like the mounts but I should have gotten frame mounted instead…. The Brophy mounts seems like a excellent quality
Hefty quality material, feels solid. Was worried trailer plug outlet would interfere, but it easily clears. Maybe some foam packing instead of brown shipping paper, paint is a little chipped up, nothing serious. Got these in anticipation of a future camper so haven't used yet.
It takes me a little extra time to install due to having to remove my tonneau cover bedrails, but these tie downs work great with my slide in truck camper.
Easy to put on they work perfectly very solid I have a 20-22 palomino SS 1251 truck camper Badland Edition doing a great job thank you a bunch

I have had no problems with them sturdy built strong enough to do the job and theyre also easy to take off and put back on right now Im in a RV campground for a few months and I took them off. On and off in about 10 minutes

Very unstable system causing sway on the road. Turnbuckles rattled loose and had to be tightened about every 50 miles.
I will be returning these ASAP. Something this dangerous should not be sold!
Shipping was super fast and I received exactly what I ordered.
Got these as a quick one time use until I could get the frame mounts and fast guns. They go the job done and did ok for the 100 miles I had to move my new camper.
Heavy duty and not hard to install. No drilling.

Install looks great, Kenneth! Have you been out with your camper yet with the new tiedowns?
They do the job and I can easily swap them to my other truck if needed

Theyve been great they did what was needed at a cost we could afford but I plan on up grading to the frame mount like we had on another truck and putting the Brophys on our secondary truck
From start to finish the price, service and quality of the Brophy tie down great! Made in America
Worked as stated. Wouldn’t use anything else and a real comfort in knowing I will be traveling 4,000 miles in the next three months! Awesome equipment!

Wow Steve, set-up looks great!! Where did you go for your first trip to break it all in?
Great company to work with, they really care about customer service. Super product!
Not what was expected. Would not stay tight to the rail of the truck. Called the manufacturer, sent them pictures, I was told that the bolts needed to be flat on the tiedown. They can't be because of the welding, there is no room for them to set flat / flush. I also purchased lock washers anticipating they would help, they did not. Might be an ok product for very short trips, I would not recommend them. They are nicely finish.
I accidentally ordered this item while intending to purchase the Torklift frame-mounted tie down system, which I ordered as well. As a result, the Brophy tie-downs remain brand new and unopened in the box. While I can’t give a fair rating on their performance or quality, I wanted to note that the packaging and delivery were handled well.
Unfortunately, I now have to decide what to do with this item, but that’s on me not the product. Just make sure to double check your order to ensure you’re getting the correct system for your setup.
I thought they were very strong but got some bed distortion for some reason.
Excellent product, I have traveled over 4000 miles using this product. Not one slip! Customer service is A+

Wow that's awesome, Stephanie! What have been some of your favorites places that you have traveled to in those 4k miles?
Sarah did a great job helping me to get the parts we need for a customer.
Fantastic customer service and great personality.
Excellent product. Easy to install and looks to be able to do the job promised. I ordered the Extra Clearance model since the small difference in price seemed worth the added ease of fastening down the camper. However, I should have confirmed the clearance between the camper legs and the tie-downs prior. The additional size of the Extra Clearance model prevented the vehicle with tie-downs mounted to pass between the camper legs for mounting. Will have to reorder the standard option.
Not compatible with aluminum bed Ford Heavy Duty trucks. Need a steel bed.
As always my order arrived early. The box was not in great shape but nothing was lost out the holes. Poor delivery guy could barely get it to the porch. I was surprised at how heavy they are. It took me about half an hour to get them installed. I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 2500. The shape of the inside of the truck was a pain to work around. I couldn't set the front tie downs as far forward as I would have liked, but it will work. Haven't got the camper yet but I'm sure they will be perfect. I have seen these on many pickups here in western Colorado. The installation video made my choice easy ...NO HOLES TO DRILL.
These work, but there are some issues. First, I had to put a 2x6 in between the bottom mount and the side of the bed. Next, they extend out several inches and that barely cleared the legs of the jacks, almost requiring the "dually jack swings" when not using a dually. Also, even when anchored, they will move some after driving a significant amount of time. For the price or as a temporary option, they are fine, but there are better choices.
I am so happy with your Angled Hold Downs. Especially how they clamp to the bed of my truck and I didn't have to drill any holes. They do a great job and I have no worries when the girls take it camping for the weekend... I do worry about the safety of my pickup though. hahaha

Haha
Seem to be well made tie downs. However in the packaging I was given 2 extra 3/8 nuts instead of the 2 necessary 7/16 nuts I was supposed to have. Had to go to the hard ware store for the 2 7/16 nuts.
Easy installed
Condition: Installed
Notes: There are install marks from previously being test fitted. All hardware is included.
