I just finished installing the Curt hitch on my Promaster. It is a perfect fit. I liked the finish of the hitch and the quality of the hardware provided for mounting. It was easy to install. I only needed assistance when lifting the assembly in to position for bolting it to the van. I plan on using the hitch to mount a swing out spare tire carrier as most Promaster vans used for RV manufacturer do not have a spare tire. This problem has been solved for me. etrailer was great to work with from start to finish. They have several "how to" videos. There are several different hitch receivers available for the Promaster. I highly recommend the Curt. It is truly a custom fit.

Super easy bolt on installation on my 2014 promaster van. Read a great tip from another review about using two buckets to help hold the hitch receiver in place.
Fastest shipping vompany outthere. Hitch fit perfect. I was able yo install it on my ProMaster 1500 by myself, with no problems. Apears to be very strong and sturdy. Hitch is quite heavy and built very strong.
This was easy to install and I used it to tow a Honda element from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast on a uhaul tow dolly and then again to tow a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer from the East Coast to the West Coast loaded with household items. The install was pretty easy and we have absolutely no issues with the hitch. Its been a bike rack carrier lately.
Got it installed, looks pretty good. My 2025 Ram ProMaster 1500 had an optional rear step, and I was hoping that I could keep my step after adding the hitch, although I knew it might not be possible.
I initially installed the hitch without the step, and used the bolts included with the hitch. The extra width of the hitch mount step bracket requires longer screws, but that extra 1/4 " width of the hitch had me concerned that there wouldn't be enough thread left for my step mounting screws to connect properly.
To be able to bolt the step platform securely to the hitch mount, I needed slightly longer M10x1.25mm thread, 80mm long, and couldn't find any locally, so ordered a set of 5 through McMaster-Carr (only 4 needed, see photo of the bolts. Shortest bolt in image is what is supplied with this hitch, black bolt is the one originally used with the step, and longest bolt is what I used to ensure enough threads attached the assembly), removed the old bolts, and added the step.
I did have to trim a piece of the front raised section of the step (no metal in that section so it's easy to cut), and then I was able to force the center of the step under the hitch opening with just a little force.
So, if you have the optional Ram rear step, it can be made to fit back on with this hitch, and the safety chain connections are still accessible which is important.
The trailer hitch went on no problem on my 2024 Ram Promaster. It took about an hour, and the instructions were clear. The photos were a little dark on the included printouts, but I was able to follow along.
My Ram has a LF sensor in the bumper which I think is for remote locking/unlocking, and I had to relocate it to accommodate the hitch. Not too big a deal, I just zip-tied it in place on the hitch arm.
That’s great product. First time installing, but with no problem. Just followed the instructions video. Perfect fit my van. Purchased with the lock. Looks very good. Thanks.

Hi-five on the install, Meiyan! It looks great. What are you going to be using the hitch for?
Very easy to install on my 2023 RAM ProMaster van and feels super sturdy. The only niggle I have is that the hitch slightly interferes with the bumper cover so that it leaves a small gap between the cover and the van. I could probably fix by cutting some small notches in the cover, but it's a very minor issue.
