The trailer hitch options for a 2019 Ram ProMaster 2500 can be broken down into two categories, hidden and visible. The hidden options do not have a crosstube under the bumper and the visible option does. The hidden crosstube is harder to install. If you prefer aesthetics over install difficulty then go with the hidden but if you prefer an easy install over aesthetics then go with the visible crosstube. I prefer Curt hitches so part # C13207 for visible or part # C13295 for hidden. The capacities all exceed the vehicle so this won't be a factor. I have attached a photo below to better compare visible vs. hidden.

In regards to the trailer wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118618 for a 4-way or part # 22112 for a 7-way. These are our most reliable options to date.

Hi, I am looking into a hitch for my 2025 Pro Master 2500. I have a question on the curt hidden hitch vs the visible. Does the visible hang lower than the cross axle on the Van? Also, do the draw tight class IV hitches allow keeping the spare in place?

@AnthonyP The Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13207 does not hang down below the cross axle on a 2025 Pro Master 2500. Neither the Curt item # C13207 or Draw-Tite item # 75882 hitches will affect you keeping your spare tire mounted below your van. What they do impact is the spare tire release mechanism, which is accessed from behind the rear tire. We have tech tips for both hitches saying you have to modify the release mechanism but there's no directions on how exactly to do this in the installation instructions. What are you needing a hitch for?

@JerredH the hitch will be used for multiple purposes. First to tow a cargo trailer 14' with a weight of about 4000 and a bass boat wight of about 3500, then and for the rest of the vans life, it will be used for a hitch type motorcycle carrier weight of not more than 500lbs

@AnthonyP Since you're staying below the Curt Hitch item # C13295 capacity. You may want to go this route to avoid any issues you'll run into with the spare tire and clearance.
