Hi Bob!

We definitely have what you need to get your 2025 Ram ProMaster 3500 set up for towing! First, do you know if you have an EXT model? The Curt Hitch # C13295 will fit both the EXT and non EXT models, but if you do not have that, the Curt Hitch # C13207 does have a higher capacity.

You will need a few parts for the wiring and will start with the Curt 4-flat # C58DR. I know you said you want a 7-way, but bear with me. Once the 4-flat is installed, you will need our Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This will piggyback off the 4-flat and you will need to run less wires this way (I have a diagram below showing what you will need to do.

Last is the brake controller. I saw you were looking at the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness # RED52VR and that is the one I personally would choose. I am 6'5" and tend to smack my knee into the ones that install under the dash in the footwell. But, I should note that it can only handle up to 2 axles. If you wanted something with a bit more capacity and don't mind a controller in the footwell, you could go with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195. It can handle up to 4 axles and is the best one on the market.

Do you know what you will be towing?

Hey Bob, Did you get a chance to figure out if your ProMaster is an EXT model and decide on which hitch and brake controller to go with? I'm curious to know how everything worked out for you, as it could really help others in a similar situation. Let me know if you need any more assistance!
