Today we're going to take a look at the trailer bearing for 5200 pound to 7000 pound axles. This replacement bearing is a high quality tapered roller bearing designed for high speed use. Most bearings use industry-standard numbers. This one, the number is stamped on the inner ring and it's right here. You can see, it's JLM506849 and again this is designed to fit 5200 pound to 7000 pound axles. Now, on a bearing the critical measurement is the inner diameter which is the measurement of the inside part. To measure that, it's actually measured in thousandths of an inch so it doesn't require a digital caliper to get a correct reading.
Basically on this one, if we do the internal measurement, we can see it's going to be right at 2.165 inches. This bearing is designed to fit in the bearing race number of 506810, but that should do it for the review on the trailer bearing for 5200 pound to 7000 pound axles.

These outer bearing took a couple weeks for delivery and when they arrived the were loose in a cheap unprotected plastic bags. That’s BS customer service in my view!!!!!
I ordered bearing before that came individually boxed for protecting the bearing for being banged around in shipping.

Unfortunately outer edge of both bearing housings were "dented" in slightly. Will need to return them. Overall though I have always been pleased with eTrailer and will continue to use them.

Not for marine applications. When I went to repack the bearing this spring they had completely fallen apart and rusted out. There was damage to the spinal and I had to buy a whole new axle.
Product seems to be worth the cost but the way they ship is not. Both bearings and races are put in a shipping envelope with no protection. Don’t like they are left to bounce around in shipping envelope.

I’m guessing they are Chinese made. My 50 year old Timkin USA made bearings are still tighter and roll just as free as these new one. They are a good fit and once I filled them with hi quality EP grease they seemed solid.
I received one hub on a Friday the axle was delivered with bearing on Tuesday it said everything was delivered but didn't receive the second hub, then found the axle doesn't fit the hubs.
I needed this axle the following weekend looks like I will cancel my trip.
