Still very pleased with the products ! Thank you again

by:

Works perfectly for me. I use it to tow a motorcycle trailer behind my Mini Cooper with a concealed hitch so I need the extra length to clear the bumper. No complaints.

by:

The drawbar I got with my trailer hitch was way too low and didn't seem to be correct for my vehicle. This corrected that issue.

by:

Excellent quality, solid steel bar and wields are excellent. The black coating is heavy and well applied. I’m Very happy with this product!

I believe my choice, with the help of etrailer, of this Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver, along with a few other items to go with it, such as the drawbar, hitch ball and wiring harness, was a good one for my 2017 Subaru Forester. I also have to compliment etrailer for their excellent video on how to install it. All together, it really made the purchase very easy and smooth. Thanks etrailer.

by:

It was delivered in a timely manner as promised, price was great, and pretty easy to install at home.
This is my second hitch from this supplier. My last experience several years ago was equally great.

by:

I was going to simply order the hitch and use the old extension bar I had from a previous etrailer hitch. But at the last minute I decided to order the suggested bar, because it looked so much different than the one I had. I'm glad I did. The old bar was not only noticeably lower, but it wasn't as long as my Toyota needed to get past the bumper. etrailer knows what they are doing! It works great!

by:

Excellent hitch receiver. Perfect fit, nice welds, easy install.

by:

Ball mount ideal for situation. Info on web site rise and drop is wrong way round. Should be 1 1/4" rise 5/8" drop.

by:

Works perfectly. Needed a tow bar
with very little rise and would clear the bumper. Thankfully, etrailer has a huge selection of equipment so you can find the right piece.

by:

Easy to order, quick shipping. Will buy from again.

by:

Perfect length and rise for my 2015 CRV.

by:

Parts arrived sooner than expected, both fit my 2010 Maxima and work great.
I called to cancel one of the items and service was friendly and helpful. I will recommend to others.

by:

Very simple install took about 15-20 mi nutes.

by:

simple and solid...time will tell how well the finish holds up... looks great brandy new, like my first wife.

by:

Pat C was EXCELLENT!! She was knowledgeable and polite, she Worked hard to help me complete my order after there was a problem with my billing. Followed through and made it happen, Thanks Pat

The other women I spoke with were rude and gave me mixed answers

by:

Nice stinger. Solid construction. Just what I needed to attach a clevis to for my Honda Pioneer 500 to pull my buddies out. Great service quality product.

by:

Just submitted a review. You guys always do a great job - thank you!

by:

Yeah great product, received in the mail super fast even with the free shipping.

Would totally recommend and buy again. Very reasonable pricing also and so easy to fit.

by:

by:

Since the hitch is 'hidden' by the bumper a long tongue was needed. This fits perfect for my 2004 Outback wagon

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch And Wiring For 2015 Nissan Rogue
We do not have a complete kit for all of the items you are looking for but I can make recommendations for each of the items you asked about. We have trailer hitches that have a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening that will work with your 2015 Rogue. I recommend the Draw-Tite # 36542. This is a Class ll hitch. The ball mount I recommend for the # 36542 is part # 36053. This ball mount features a 5/8 inch rise and 1-1/4 inch drop. For a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball I recommend part # 19256 and for a...

  • Draw-Tite Hitch Recommendation for Ground Clearance on a 2000 Subaru Outback Wagon
Since the CURT Trailer Hitch # C12270 will sit below the rear bumper of your 2000 Subaru Outback Wagon it will reduce the ground clearance on your vehicle. However, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 36284 will give you a little more ground clearance as the area that goes around the exhaust tip will go above the tip on the Draw-Tite hitch. Whereas, it goes below the tip on the CURT hitch. Check out the picture I attached that shows both of these hitches installed on a similar vehicle as yours. I...

  • 2004 Subaru Legacy Outback Trailer Hitch with 2 Inch Receiver Opening
There is no Class III receiver hitch available for the 2004 Subaru Legacy. We do have an adapter that will fit the class II 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch, # 80303 that would allow you to use a 2 inch accessory in your class II receiver. When using an adapter, you must take into account that your tongue weight will be reduced by 50 percent so the weight of your bikes and rack could not exceed 100 or 125 pounds, depending on which hitch you purchase. I have linked below to the hitches we carry...

  • Compare the Class III Draw-Tite and Curt Class II Hitch for the 2006 Subaru Outback Wagon
Both of the hitches you mentioned are good quality hitches, are easy to install and require no drilling or welding for installation. They have very similar towing cacities: 4000 lb for the Draw-Tite and 3500 lb for the Curt. I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Hitch, # 75560 for you 2006 Subaru Outback Wagon. This hitch provides you with a 2" receiver, which is why I believe it is the most popular hitch for your Outback Wagon. More trailers and hitch accessories (like bike racks and cargo...

After confirming with Draw-Tite, I can tell you the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 36284 is a compatible fit for your 2000 Subaru Legacy Wagon. It is a custom fit for your vehicle and features bolt-on installation with no welding required. It is a 1-1/4-inch trailer hitch with a max GTW of 3500 lbs and a max tongue weight of 300 lbs. I have provided a link to the installation instructions for this hitch as well as a video showing a typical installation. If you need a drawbar for this hitch,...

  • Correct Ballmount for a 2008 Subaru Outback
Both Class I and Class II trailer hitches are tested and rated with the specific ball mount for that hitch, therefore the ballmount used must be the one that is recommended by the trailer hitch receiver manufacturer. Class I or Class II hitch that is manufactured by Curt I recommend the # C45519 ball mount. Class II hitch that is manufactured by Draw-Tite,...

For a 2 inch ball to use in the ball mount part # 36053 you would want the part # 19258. For a 1-7/8 inch ball you would want the part # 19254. Both of these balls have shank diameters of 3/4 inches. Length of the threaded portion of the shank isn't super important but the two I mentioned are confirmed fits and both have different lengths.

So yes, you could trim the heat shield if you wanted to on your 2015 Subaru Forester. If you go with this Curt hitch and you will be using it for a bike rack or a cargo carrier then Curt requires the use of stabilization strap # 18050. I recommend measuring the inside of the hitch receiver opening and then measuring the shank of the draw bar. It may be that one of them is outside of the tolerances. • Will the 1-1/4" Drop Draw Tite Drawbar Work with 1-1/2" Drop Needed for Trailer
The Draw Tite Drawbar part # 36053 would work great on a vehicle/trailer 1-1/2" apart since the vehicle would likely sag some either from cargo or the trailer therefore the 1-1/4" drop the above drawbar offers will still work great. This is also your best option as we do not currently offer any 1-1/4" drawbars with an exact 1-1/2" drop. The drawbar comes with a hitch pin but if you need a hitch ball use part # 19258.
