With its black Cerakote finish, rocks and road debris can't chip or ding this hitch, so rust doesn't stand a chance. Plus, it comes with a chrome-plated double-sided tow ball, so switching sizes is a breeze.

Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a chrome-plated 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 hitch with two ball mount for your three-inch trailer hitch receiver. This 180 hitch is going to slide into your three-inch trailer hitch receiver, and it's going to give you a two-inch and 2 5/16-inch double-sided chrome-plated steel tow ball, making this switching tow ball size is very easy for you. So you can tow different types of trailers such as, maybe a small utility trailer, a camper, a boat trailer. So this dual functionality is going to eliminate the need for having multiple hitches. And this is going to give you a maximum drop when you have the shank in this orientation of six inches.
And then when you flip that shank over, you're gonna get a maximum rise of seven inches with an incremental adjustment of one inch. So this is going to give you that height adjustability that you need so you can tow trailers of different heights, all with the same vehicle. So when you use the 2 5/16-inch hitch ball, you're gonna have a gross towing capacity of 21,000 pounds. With the two-inch ball, it's gonna be 8,000 pounds. And then this has a maximum tongue weight of 2,200 pounds.
And taking a closer look, this hitch is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, giving you superior strength and durability. And this features a really great, good looking black cerakote finish. It's a ceramic coating that's going to give you an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability. So not only does this finish, make this hitch look right on the back of your truck, but if you tow in harsh environments such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this durable finish is going to help protect this hitch, it's going to help keep it looking good on the back of your truck while also helping it work properly for many years to come. This also features this dual pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the tow ball size is very simple.
Let me give you a brief demonstration of that. I'm gonna remove our cover here. I'm gonna take one of the keys here, just insert it into the lock just like this. And then I'm just gonna give it a turn and then that's going to allow me to easily remove this slider lock. Now, while I have this removed I wanted to show you, I'm gonna turn that back to the locked position and remove the key.
But our pins here are aluminium and our housing is aluminium and then the lock here is plated steel. So this is durable and it's going to hold up really well against corrosion. And then I wanted you to notice just how easily the ball platform is going to slide up and down this shanks. It's gonna be very easy, it's not gonna bind up or anything. And then I'm just going to swap this to the two-inch ball and drop it into place just like that. And then as I mentioned, the dual pin slider lock, I did turn it back to the locked position with the key. So all I'm gonna have to do now is line up the holes. And then if you notice, just push it firmly, it's gonna lock right back into place without the key. So you are not going to be at the back of your truck, struggling to get that height adjustment that you're looking for or getting the right tow ball size. Everything is gonna operate very smoothly for you. You're gonna be able to get set up very quickly and get on down the road. Another added benefit that I appreciate is this included hitch pin lock. Everything is key to like here. You are going to get four keys, one key's gonna operate everything. So you've got really a dual theft deterrent here with the dual slider lock locking up the ball platform. And then this hitch pin lock locking this to your trailer hitch receiver at the back of your vehicle. Now, I went ahead and removed the key, I turned this back to the locking position, removed the key. If you notice, it has a cap there to protect that keyway. And then when you're ready to lock this in your trailer hitch receiver, you're just gonna push it firmly together. And then that's gonna lock in place. So again, you don't need the key inserted in that lock to lock it back up. So it's gonna be very quick to secure this in place. Let me give you some measurements. Measuring from the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, we're sitting about 8.5 inches, from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, about 9 5/8 inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of our shank, about 1 7/8 inches. This is SAEJ 684 certified and VESC regulation V-5 compliant. So if you're looking for a hitch that's going to really be a great, long-term investment that is going to give you plenty of flexibility, safety, durability, and as you saw, it's gonna be very easy to use. This is really gonna be an excellent option for you to consider. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Nice hitch, solid. Keys for pin and lock are keyed the same, so thats cool. 10" drop for my 2026 2500hd Silverado. Was probably more then I needed, 8" would have been close.
One thing with the 10" drop. The bottom is about even with the duel ball set up anyway, looks nice when stowed(reversed).
This Cerakote finished W/S hitch is made in the USA and worth the extra cost IMO; recommend getting either the 6in or the 8in Drop for flexibility. 2200lb hitch and 18.5K LB tow rating is plenty for my RAM, 6.7 Cummins, 3/4 ton with 2.5inch receiver. I highly recommend this hitch.
I recently used the Weigh Safe Cerakote Coated 180 Hitch with a 6" drop on a 1,300-mile trip, and it was fantastic. It handled everything—road grime, snow, salt, and mud—without ever looking dull or dingy.
The dual-ball design makes switching between trailers super easy, and the adjustable drop works perfectly to keep everything level. It was simple to install and felt solid and secure the whole trip. The locking pins kept everything safely attached to my truck, no worries about someone walking away with it. If you need a tough, reliable hitch that looks great and gets the job done, this one’s a no-brainer. Highly recommend!
