Say goodbye to complicated wiring setups with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness. It's custom-fit for your vehicle, allowing you to easily plug directly into the existing wiring. This means no cutting or splicing wires, making installation as quick as a breeze. Simply locate the connection points in your rear cargo area, plug in the T-connector, and you're ready to go.
Worried about overloading your vehicle’s electrical system? The T-One harness is equipped with a ModuLite power module that connects directly to the battery. It draws power independently, reducing strain on your vehicle’s tail light circuits and ensuring that combination brake and turn signals activate your trailer’s lights without affecting your vehicle’s lights.
Whether you're using a 5-pole, 6-pole, or 7-pole adapter, this 4-way flat trailer connector has got you covered. Compatible with various adapters (sold separately), it powers your trailer's signal lights effortlessly. Plus, the connector comes with a dust cap to keep it clean and corrosion-free during storage.
For those who demand durability and reliability, the T-One Wiring Harness is built with 16-gauge bonded wire. It's designed to withstand wear and tear, giving you a long-lasting connection that holds up regardless of the challenges on the road ahead.
Imagine a world where you can set up your trailer hitch wiring without splicing into your factory harness. With this plug-and-play design, installation is as simple as it gets—just connect it and you're good to go. This design ensures a reliable installation that doesn’t require additional modifications to your vehicle.
Designed with maximum efficiency in mind, this harness can support up to 4.2 amps per circuit for stop/turn lights and up to 7.5 amps per circuit for tail lights. This ensures your trailer's lights perform optimally, whether you’re driving in the day or night. Enjoy peace of mind knowing your trailer lighting will remain consistent on your journey.
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area. You will have to remove the floor cover and some interior paneling to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed in your rear cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because your vehicle runs on a multiplex wiring system, the wiring needs to be converted to be compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

The easiest wiring harness I've put in yet. Perfect fit and the website makes you aware of the 2 types and how to identify them.
The T connectors are great!
The Hitch was easy to install Took me 20 minuets and i was doing it on the Ground. Running The Trailer Lights was not as easy. but can be done.
This kit had everything I needed, and the instructions guided me through a trouble-free installation. I am very happy with this purchase

One year later- this harness continues to be trouble free. I would recommend this harness
The product its self seems fine, but the install videos for the trax are convoluted, unnecessarily overly complex.
The only things that need to be removed are the spare tire cover, the two pieces of foam, and the two little access panels. At that point the wires can be easily fished, and you do NOT need to pop the taillight connectors to to unplug them. There is also an easy access ground point behind the left access panel and plenty of open spade connects in the rear fuse box.
For a LT model that has LED lights. I have an LS. Regular lights. Returning. And you don't have any for real lights. You should make that more clear.
Just got the harness today and it is already installed. Almost too easy. On my 2019 Trax LT the power is already in the back so you don't have to run a wire all the way up to the battery. Probably took less than an hour. I would recomend this product to any Trax owner who wants to pull light loads. My plan is to purchase a 5' x 8' light utility trailer with a steel mesh floor and fold down ramp soon.
I moved from Arkansas to Washington State last year and towed a small UHaul with my 2017 Chevy Trax, which has the new hitch that I purchased from you. Everything worked great and I had no trouble whatsoever.
works great... installation instructions were very good..... would buy again from etrailer..
The product quality is awesome. I haven't wired it up yet but the hitch is in and holds the basket I bought for the back of it. They sent 1 wrong bolt that set the install back about an hour for a trip to the hardware store but other than that it went well.
Couldn't have been better! Received in 3 days, had installed next day- about 3 hrs for hitch and lights. Easy to understand instructions, fit perfectly.
Very good instructions. Very easy install. On my 2019 Chevrolet Trax I noticed that there is a fuse panel with spares in the rear driver side compartment that the power wire can be hooked to. Made the installation even easier
Awesome customer service and great all around shopping experience from the how to videos to the fast shipping I would definitely always buy from etrailer again!!
very easy install, great product with no splicing of wires on the factory harness, simple plug and play installation
Excellent service fast shipping , good communication since day one .ido recommend trailer for you next hitch purchase
Great hitch and awesome service!!
just received items and haven't had a chance to install.
everything appears to be there.
very happy with the quickest of the order being delivered and Ian for being so helpful in putting the order together.
i plan on putting this on my chev trax so i may be able to take things to the transfer station that would not fit in trax. also being able to hook up the trailer i'll be able to pick up other items too big for the trax to carry.
Have only used a few times but worked fine those couple times. Installation was harder than claimed.
Other than receiving the wrong wiring harness to start with everything has been great.
Very easy just need to have a lift so you can run a good line but had every thing to fit ,This is second one I’ve bought from you folks good product.
This is a good web site, was easy to use. My order came in one box and was complete. Will install next weekend. (Garage space avaliblity) . Thanks .
Great product, easy to install. Very fast shipping.
Everyone did an exceptional job in assembly and shipping
I am really impressed of the customer service.
I will buy from you again.

It sounds like running the power wire to the battery was a little challenging. We do have a great FAQ that can help as a guide. Please see the link below.
