A silver roof box adds cargo room and a clean, low-key look up top. Installation can be quick and easy, but always verify your crossbar spacing and rear-hatch clearance for a proper fit. If your vehicle has a sunroof or moonroof, keep it closed when a box is mounted.
Plan to keep the sunroof closed with a roof box installed. There's a chance it won't cause interference, but there's also a chance that it will. Without vehicle-specific testing, opening the sunroof isn't recommended.
Measure from the center of the front crossbar back to the rear hatch seam. If that dimension is 51-5/16 inches or more, the hatch should clear. Slide the box as needed, and open the hatch slowly the first time to confirm no contact.
