Does Thule Motion 3 Cargo Box Allow Rear Hatch of Vehicle to Open When Installed

Question:

I have a 2018 Honda CRV with factory cross bars, will the Motion 3 L for without the tailgate hitting?

Hey Gary, so if you can take one roof rack measurement on your 2018 Honda CR-V we can determine if the Thule Motion 3 # TH77PN will allow the rear hatch to open. Measure from the center of the front crossbar back to the rear hatch seam. If that dimension is 51-5/16 inches or more it will clear.

Sorry for the late reply. I have measured. It’s just enough for the trunk to open fully. My vehicle is equipped with height adjustable tailgate which makes it more flexible. I have already installed the cargo box on my vehicle. Thank you for the information. I’m happy to share pictures of that
