Pick the mounting style you need—undermount or drop-in—and double-check both outside and bowl dimensions for your cutout. For installs where the drain tailpiece glues in instead of threading, plan on ABS/PVC cement and a bead of silicone or caulk.
Some rectangular single RV sinks are undermount only, others can be undermounted or dropped in. For granite, use an adhesive suitable for stone. If you try to top-mount an undermount-only sink, you can caulk the bottom of the lip, but it may not look the best—match the sink's designed mounting style when possible.
Most rectangular single RV sinks use a glued or sealed drain, not a screw-in. Use an appropriate sealant or ABS/PVC cement for the down tube. If your existing drain won't unthread, it's likely glued. Dry-fit first and confirm your strainer or basket matches the sink's drain setup.
Dimensions can be listed for both the outside (including the lip) and the inside bowl. Measure your countertop cutout and compare to both sets to confirm fit. Check bowl depth for clearance. If you're rebuilding a top, verify the exact cutout size against the listed inside/outside measurements.
