RV Water Pump with 35 psi for under-40 setups

Building out a camper or replacing a fresh water pump on an RV or boat? A 35 psi RV water pump meets under-40 psi requirements and pairs well with simple sink or single-fixture setups. Match the pressure rating to your old pump for an easy swap, and if your shower head is around 2.5 gallons per minute, consider stepping up in flow for a stronger stream.
Noise varies, and some can be loud. One install was described as the loudest RV pump experienced and it woke people up when running. If sound is a concern, plan the mounting location with that in mind and test before finalizing your install.
35 psi can work, but make sure the flow rate matches your fixture. A 1.2 GPM pump will feel low compared to shower heads around 2.5 GPM. If you want more water through a shower head, choose a higher GPM. For a single sink or very short showers with small water tanks, the lower flow can help conserve water.
Match the mounting and port style to your current setup. A replacement fit the same mounting and worked well, and installs were described as easy. Confirm the mounting hole pattern and inlet/outlet size before you bolt it down.
It may not if the water source sits below the pump. A setup with a bucket 16" below did not draw water even with correct connections. Keep the pump level with or below the waterline, minimize suction lift, and prime the line before testing.
