Swagman Truck Bed Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Fork Mount - 9-mm Skewer
I used 2 inch square tubing cut the length of the tie down support bracket in my 2007 Honda Ridgeline and secured with a stainless bolt and wing nut, use a large enough washer to cover the diameter of the supply hole in the Honda Ridgeline bracket on the truck. A couple of notes: Be sure to use something as a cushioning gasket to insure a snug fit and to protect your truck lining. I used rubber or foam exercise mat cut to the same as the aluminum square tubing. Use a washer that a combination of hard plastic and metal to avoid the corrosive effects of dissimilar metals in contact with each other. last: My 26" full suspension bike fits, but I have swing it to one side slightly before i close the tailgate and lift the bike up and slide it down....It's a very snug fit but the suspension adds pressure to the tailgate and its works out very well. Or you could just use a tailgate extender.
Referring to special mounting instructions if you have a bed liner: (line #3). I do not have a bed liner, but I do have a molded plastic cap on my bed rails ('04 Ford F350). The first install over the plastic cap the locking pin or pin as called out in line #3 was nowhere near making contact with the metal lip of the metal bed under the plastic. What I did next on the second and final install was remove/cut away the plastic on the inside of the bed rail to allow the vertical portion of the "L" mounting bracket (Fig 4) to contact the metal bed. The locking pin is now at a position almost where it would protrude under the metal bed lip if I would remove the rest of the plastic under the horizontal portion of the "L" mounting bracket, I did not do that. After cutting a notch in the metal rail to accept the pin, the pin barely flushes out to secure the rack. A 1/4" longer pin would take care of this problem. One other thing that was not addressed in the install instructions was if you have a full size pick-up bed you are likely to attach the passenger side fork mount (Fig 2) to the right of the extension tube locking mechanism. The extension tube is a smaller diameter, so you will have resize the fork tube clamp (Fig 1) for the smaller tube. I can't explain how to do it other than it's a Chinese puzzle.

Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
The good: I like the way the bikes are held in and the ability to add the upright adapters to the bike frame holders. The straps are quality too. For a jeep with a spare tire, this is the perfect length to clear it. This rack is 5 stars from the bike holders to the base of it. The bad: the 2"receiver adapter and bolt are insufficient. I wish they made this in a solid 2" hitch. The entire setup is held into the receiver by a very short bolt. It only goes about half way into the receiver tube. So your hitch is only "secured" on one side. A hitch pin or bolt should go through the receiver tube completely imo so it can be secured on the other end with a retaining clip or nut. Because this only goes in the one side, the entire weight of the rack plus bikes are held tight to one side of the receiver by the undersized bolt and washer. A few bumps down the road and that bolt loosens. Now instead of distibuting the weight of the rack and bikes on the receiver and post, it's completely up to the bolt to keep you from losing the rack. The bolt threads get damaged too. I took this down a dirt road and nearly lost everything. I had to buy my own bolt with hd fender washers and lock washers to correct this. Thule should've provided this from the start. The current short bolt design where only one side of the receiver secures the rack is unacceptable. This rack is 1 star at best for the connection to the receiver.
Hitch pin broke before I got it. Looks like a poor design for the locking pin, they might want to consider a different design. I got a 3/8 shear pin from Home Depot to replace and it works great. Bike rack is great!

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I like the overall design of this rack, but unfortunately after hauling a couple bikes around for a while the point where the crossbar connects has apparently rounded off so the rack swings back and forth. I've used rope to tie the ends of the rack to the car to stop this from getting worse, but it's inconvenient. Note: the hitch connection itself is good and solid, but the point where the crossbar connects to the bar coming from the hitch has gotten loose and there's no way that I can see to tighten it.
It works great! Easy, quick, you know. One needs to screw in the hitch bolt, for some reason, before latching it. Other than that, it makes going bike riding way easier.

Softride Shuttle Pad Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 6 Bikes - 61" Wide
The fit for a 2014 Ram was spot on, no issue with the wide style tailgate top and the access flap for the tailgate handle lined up perfectly. Material is durable and easy to clean, the only thing holding it from a 5 stars is if it had the padded dividers on top to keep the bikes separated. But for the price, the fit and finish was exceptional, great value !!!
The product review/installation video helped me make my selection. I selected the full size pad for 2001 Silverado 1500. Installs easily, fits nicely, flap in pad is positioned for easy access to tailgate latch.

Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack for Truck Beds - Clamp On
Using the Grippers for carrying 2 ebikes, weighing 55 & 75 lbs. I know this is above the rated bike weights but so far they have performed well. My short bed keeps the 75# bike pretty well locked in front to back so that may help.
I am disappointed that they don’t hold my bikes better than they do. I still have to strap them down so they don’t fall out. They are pretty expensive for what you get. I need to modify them so they will actually work. Not really what I was expecting to do, but I need to so my bikes are secured.

Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On
The Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On, is just what I was looking for to be able to build a bike rack for carrying one of my bikes on my motorcycle. It was easy to mount and it holds my bike in place while riding on bumpy dirt roads, city streets, highways and even when I hit some twisty country roads. It's really easy to load and unload my bike when I get to where I want to ride. I use a velcro strap around the quick-release and the fork arm as an added safety as well as a couple tie-downs from my bike handlebars to my motorcycle passenger pegs to help distribute the weight on my rack. If you want to build your own DIY bike rack I totally recommend the Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On.
Love this product! I built a great bike carrying system for my F-150 using two of these fork clamps. They are easy to install and extremely well made. No more tangled bikes and lots more room in the bed for other stuff! Best way to go for a nice bike rack system. Thanks, Phil T.

Thule Insta-Gater Pro Truck Bed Bike Rack - 1 Bike
Linda and I recently ordered two Aventon Pace 500 NextGen E-bikes from [bike store] in Madison, WI. Not wanting to just toss our expensive new bikes in the back of the p/u when they arrive next month we promptly ordered the Thule Instagator from etrailer. My prior experience with etrailer came as a recommendation from a friend. I was able to do quite a bit of the research on etrailers website, the demonstration video extremely helpful and we placed an order. The racks were in-stock, shipped promptly, etrailer providing a very nice tracking link that included pics of the staff involved in processing the order and a map of the route all the way to delivery. Absolutely 1st rate service. The racks showed up in perfect condition about two days after placing the order, exactly as promised. We are very pleased with etrailer, will most certainly be ordering from them again and recommend this company w/o reservation. Nice job etrailer!
I bought two racks to transport my ebikes. The tires do not fit in the rack. the cradle that holds the tire require to be wider. I need to return them. please assist me in this matter. thank you

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
First-time rack buyer / owner / installer. The rack arrived in a timely fashion, maybe a day or 2 ahead of schedule. It was well packaged. I’m LOVING this bike rack. It was easy to put together and to mount on my new Honda Passport. Thus far, no squeaks in my 2” receiver. Hardest part of initial set-up is figuring out the best way to position two bikes. Trial & error and some patience. The directions weren’t clear as to where the 2 left-over screws went. I found the answer in another review and have posted a pic in case others have the same problem (photo with pen pointing at screw). These screws go in the underneath side of both of the folding arms. They appear to keep the wheel wells from sliding off in case in you drive with an empty, un-folded rack, and forgot to tighten down the wheel wells. The folding arm push / pull pins can be difficult at times. I coated the tips with some lube. That and a little jiggling seems to solve that issue. I guess it’s better for the pins to be snug vs popping right out. I added a small Master lock to the hitch pin (in lieu of the provided cotter pin) as a theft deterrent. I read that a 3/16 shackle lock will fit into the bike clamp down arms to also act as a deterrent. I had an old 3/16 lock that did snugly fit and appeared to be locked. HOWEVER, I yanked on the lock and it came open as there isn’t quite enough clearance for the shackle to lock. I discovered that longer 3/16 shackle locks are hard to find. Have attached a photo of the lock that actually fits and works (Ace Hardware). One lock on the upper clamp down arm will secure both arms as the lower arm can’t be removed without removing the upper arm. The clamp down arms appear to be coated to prevent damage to your bike. I’ve tried a simple rag and ultimately settled on pool noodle pieces as a precautionary measure. I CAN NOT open my tailgate (regardless of whether or not the rack is fold up and in the bike carry position). If that’s a concern for you, then spring for the more costly titling version. My back-up camera still functions.
The Swagman XTC-2 platform bike carrier arrived very quickly from etrailer and in good shape, the actual carrier box is inside another shipper box, which I'm sure helped with its condition. Assembly was relatively quick and painless, even though the instructions could be a little more thorough. Installing the carrier on the back of our Jeep Patriot also was quick, it helps to have an extra ratchet & 3/4" socket laying around for just this purpose. Installing the bikes takes a little patience and trial and error the first time you try and put them on the carrier. It's easy enough to adjust the wheel holders to fit the wheelbase of your bikes, but for us at least, the challenge was trying to swing the vertical support bar up into position after putting on the first bike (closest to the Jeep). We couldn't angle the bike enough toward the Jeep to have the bar clear the bike. We learned that the easiest way to secure the first bike was to remove the ratcheting frame hooks altogether, put the bike in the carrier, swing up the vertical support bar, put in the pin, and then slide one of the frame hooks down on the bar. The outside bike is much easier because you can set the bike in the carrier at whatever angle you need, not being limited by the back of the vehicle. One thing we did to protect the bike frames was to use some foam pipe insulation as cushion between the frame hook and the frame (see pictures). Once you get a system for installing the bikes, it is very quick to load/unload them. The rack seems to be well made and doesn't wiggle excessively when traveling. All in all a good product for a good price, would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a platform bike carrier.

Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 7 Bikes - 53" Wide
Very sturdy and well made. Great for a barrier between bikes and tailgate so it is not scratched. The camera flap is a plus so the rear view camera is accessible. No issues a year after purchase. Fits a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 and 2022 RAM 2500 equally well.
It has 7 different areas to strap bicycles down but there is definitely not room to strap 7 bikes down from what I can tell. The straps were a little tricky to feed under the tailgate and pull up at the same time with only one person. Overall it works pretty well but it appears to only have enough room for 4 MTN bikes.

Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
The BEST bike carrier by far!! We are both in our 7th decade and even I alone (5’2” 120 lbs) can manage to attach this in my hitch without any issues. It’s so easy to load both our hybrid and e-bike and they are super secure. We love that it folds up small and wheels away when not in use. This bike carrier is worth every penny!!
This rack is perfect! eTrailer had it shipped and at my home in almost no time. I drove with it on the car today, and it was solid and secure. It's super easy to get on and off the hitch. I'm 5'1 and I was able to load the bike on with the ramp without a struggle. Thanks for the thorough video and comparison information. It made this purchase easy.

Swagman Patrol Truck Bed Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Fork Mount - 9-mm Skewer and 15-mm Thru-Axle
rack tends to work itself loose from bed walls during long trips. had to strap down with ratchet straps to keep from moving. locks only work at a specific angle -- wish the manual had said this because we couldn't lock our bikes until figuring it out.
Excellent Customer service and help for this product. Thank you Carol and Neil your the best.

Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 8 Bikes - 60" Wide
etrailer has been great in the past and I will order from them again. This experience was mediocre because they advertised free 3 day shipping through a google search for this product. After paying I was notified that it would take longer. I needed the gate mate for a weekend trip and could have gotten it through [online vendor] for the same price, quicker. Not a big deal, just be aware.
Great material, inside smooth will not scratch the tailgate. Easy install. I ordered for full size, truck however if I had to do it again I would choose smaller width. I have rails mounted to the inside of bed for a bed cover. The gate mate really fits snug, having to slam the gate to lock. Depending style of bike the down tube may not snug tight. Yes I would buy again. Good price.

Curt Clamp-On Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - 2" Ball Mounts
This is the best product online. I had to do a few adjustments to make room for the clamp on the trailer hitch. The particular ball hitch I had had a reinforcement welded to the ball which I had to have a piece taken off. Once it was filed down the clamp worked like a champ. Now I have a $200 bike rack that I purchased a year ago that is obsolete. The product arrived early and in good shape. I would definitely buy this bike rack and use this company again!
Needed a bike rack for our cross country RV trip last year for three bikes. I did not want to put anything on the car we were towing and the Curt clamp on bike rack fit our situation perfectly. The rack was easy to install and the bikes were safely carried 5956 miles over 25 days with no problems.

Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
This bike rack works great for our 2 Lectric 2.0 e-bikes. We mount it on our 2019 Honda Ridgeline. It folds up nicely when it’s on the truck and we are using our bikes. The locking mechanisms work well also. I contacted support for a smaller hook arm to clamp B over the bike frame. They knew exactly what I needed and shipped it - no problem.
I've been using this bike rack alongside a trailer hitch I got here for my small car (chevy bolt ev) and it was exactly what I was looking to get to haul around my fat tire mountain bike bike. Sometimes I throw two bikes on there (either an e-bike, slightly heavier at 60 lbs, or a 2nd mountain bike) and it's perfect.

Rhino-Rack Hybrid Roof Bike Rack - Wheel Mount - Clamp On - Aluminum
Great bike carrier! Etrailer always provides me with high quality products with fast deliveries.
I love the racks, instructions were understandable, one of my end caps came in bad, it can wiggle off after locking but I emailed etrailer and they arranged a replacement quick with rhino rack, pretty nice of them, comes with rhino rack decal and just have to decide where to put it, out my bike up and took it for a test drive and it was very nice, I love their package because it comes with locks and way cheaper than the competitors, very satisfied

Yakima FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier - Roof Mount
Overall I am happy with these bike carriers. They mount to the racks over the bed of my Tundra TRD Pro. Installation is simple. I think they could be just a bit sturdier because there is just a bit of wobbling when driving on bumpy roads but I'm not too worried about them coming dislodged. Take note that although they come with a cable lock to attach the bike to the carrier, the key is sold separately.
Very good product. It holds the bike securely on the roof without contacting the frame. It is easy to adjust from my road bike to my 29er mountain bike. Our drives are all relatively short, so I like that I do not need to remove the front wheel to lock in the bike. It's also nice that the SKS locking system allows me to use the same key for this rack that I use for my Yakima roof box and hitch rack. This is my first roof rack and I chose this route for a couple reasons. Some of the roads we travel to get to our trail heads are a bit rough and with a roof rack I don't have to worry about bottoming out a hitch rack hanging off the back of the vehicle. Also, it takes up less room in the garage. Our vehicle is a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with an additional 4 inches of ground clearance. That makes it a bit of a reach for my 5'4" wife, so we take our two-step along to help her. This is my third time purchasing from etrailer, and each experience has been very good. They are a very customer service oriented company. I really appreciate all the additional information they provide on their products, especially all the videos they produce to aid in reviews, assembly, and use.

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
It was obvious that we received a product that was returned by someone else when the box was overly taped shut, a support collar was broken, and most of the pieces were out of their ripped plastic bags. However, it was a great price to hold 5, 26" and/or 27" Trek bikes. I used a piece of the broken collar and went ahead and assembled the rack. Due to the weight of the 5 bikes it did not wobble that much when driving, as one of the bike tires was up against my car. I can only imagine that if we received an untampered product that this review would have been 5 stars. The picture is a little hard to see, but there are 5 Trek bikes on the rack on my 2020 Toyota Seinna.
We received a damaged box, damaged items, no instructions, the nuts and bolts are completely stripped and not inside a bag. This was obviously used, returned, not checked for quality and sent out. We are extremely upset.

RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
We love our RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack. The fact that it can hold our two e-bikes and swings out for rear door access makes it perfect for vanlife. Service and communication from etrailer is outstanading!
etrailer.com asked me for a review about 1 week after it arrived. A better review would be in about 6-12 months after delivery to allow me time to use and experience the rack. Disclosure: my review is just for the assembly and install. Assembly is not easy. I needed to go to the internet and look at photos. The instructions lack detail. So only 4 stars for assembly instructions. It seems like a good design. The included locks seem cheap - like why bother including. The hitch pin design seems to tighten down the rack so there should be minimal rattle and movement. The rack sits up relatively high, so it would be safer to lift heavier e-bikes with two people or use some type of field engineered ramp. Wish it was made in the US and I wish the country of original was fully disclosed in the etrailer.com description. Perhaps it is disclosed but I learned it was from china after it was delivered.

Rhino-Rack Hybrid Roof Bike Rack for Fat Bikes - Wheel Mount - Clamp On - Aluminum
Was very happy with the bike mount. It went together very easy, fit my rails and my bike great. Only complaint is that there was no padding on the rear rail clamp. I didn’t want to rub the paint off my rails so I added a thin piece of rubber and it works perfectly.
Best roof rack I've purchased. I've had it for over a year. It's way better than Thule - more secure and way easier to take on and off - and less expensive. I use it for my road bike and fat back with equal ease. The unique way it attaches to your car rack makes it likely to fit almost any rack. For me, I've used it for a 2016 Sequoia and a 2017 Macan S. BTW, this is one of the few racks I've found that nicely carry a fat back. My tires are 4.5" wide, 26.5 tall...also used it for my 29er on occasion, but fat bikes are way more fun than 29ers. If I were to complain, it is the arm gets a bit stiff sometimes and need to oil it, where my Thule is less inclined to need it...but this complaint does not diminish it from being an excellent/5 start product.

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray
This thing is built like a tank! It is of the best fit and funtion I have seen in a bike rack! Solid as can be, fits my bikes perfectly and looks awesome! Plus it folds completely out of the way to access the rear liftgate on my 2022 Rav4!
Great service from etrailer and the rack arrived as expected. Fairly easy assembly. OK video on Kuat’s site, but didn’t cover the foot pedal. Really glad we got the 2” hitch. It tightened up and we’re impressed with the quality and the stability of the rack. We haven’t done a road test yet, but look forward to putting it to the test. We have a Ford F-150 and it works great. The bikes were fairly easy to load with the batteries out and two people. We do need the strap extenders for our RadMini Step Thru’s. The tires are too big for the ones that come with. Only one set of extenders came with the bike and one adapter for a smaller tire. It’s okay, but since it’s a two bike unit, would have been nice to have both extenders. Otherwise, we are really liking the look and stability.
Inno Tire Hold HD Bike Rack Review - 2022 Ram 1500
Hi Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the inner tire hold HD bike rack on the back of the 2022 Ram 1500. Now there's gonna be a great option for you if you're looking for a carrier that's gonna be able to hold your really heavy E-bikes, and you don't wanna throw 'em in the bed of your truck because you don't want 'em getting damaged. So let's take a closer look at it. Now we're gonna have an 80 pound weight capacity per bike, and we're gonna have a tilt away feature too, but as you can see, it's not gonna tilt away very far. And that's one of the trade-offs with that really heavy weight capacity. And as you can see, even if the pedal's out of the way, we're still not gonna be able to get full tailgate access, but if we wanna take a look at the rest of it, we'll have to take off our bike.

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ram 1500
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on our 2022 Ram 1500. The OnRamp is a platform style bike rack that holds a bike in these trays and primarily by our frame up top. It's in the form of a cradle with a strap that runs around the frame. That cradle rotates 360 degrees and can be height adjusted depending on where you need it. So it's gonna work well for alternative frame bikes.
Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ram 1500
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Saris Super Clamp HD on our 2022 Ram 1500. The Super Clamp is a platform style bike rack. Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ram 1500

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ram 1500
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Swagman XTC2 Tilt on our 2022 Ram 1500. The XTC is a platform style bike rack that holds a bike by the frame. You can see that frame hook right here coming down on top of the frame and pushing it down into the wheel hoops. Now because it makes frame contact, we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes and be cautious of alternative frame bikes, because those alternative frame bikes have pretty aggressive shapes of the frame. These hooks don't always grab on super well.

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ram 1500
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE on our 2022 Ram 1500. The Sport Rider is a platform style bike rack that's been designed for used with e-bikes. It has an 80 pound capacity per bike which is really impressive. A lot of other e-bike racks stay around that 60 pound mark maybe a little higher, like 66 but 80 pounds is very impressive so it's gonna work with some of those heavier e-bikes that other racks might not be able to.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ram 1500
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at how the Yakima StageTwo 2-Bike Platform Rack fits on our 2022 RAM 1500. So you've got a heavy duty truck and this is a heavy duty bike rack. It's great because you can fit pretty much any bike of any shape and size. We got great weight capacity at 70 pounds for your heavy electric bikes but also when carrying multiple bikes, it is staggered so you get really good clearance with your handlebars and your seats and things like that. So we'll talk about those features. We're gonna focus on our truck here, just to see how well it pairs with it.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ram 1500
Hey, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Kuat Piston Pro X two bike platform rack and how it fits on the 2022 Ram 1500. So this bike rack is impressive because it just does a lot of very cool things. One, is the piston, and you got your hydro-pneumatic piston there making it easy to mount and dismount your bikes. But you also have integrated lights that fit perfectly with your Ram 1500 and you have something called the tilt away.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ram 1500
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E two bike platform rack right here on a 2022 Ram 1500. The Destination E is an impressive rack for those extra heavy electric bikes. You have a ramp included. You have a 70 pound weight capacity and you have a versatile frame mount. So whether you have a step through bike or let's say a women's frame or alternate frame this is gonna work for that. Now we have some features here and this has an almost 90 degree tilt away but I did notice with that tilt away though is that it just doesn't go down far enough for our tailgate.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Ram 1500
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the RockyMounts AfterParty SwingAway bike rack and seeing how it fits on our 2020 RAM 1500. The SwingAway is going to be a great option for any sort of truck because with the tailgate this allows you to swing the whole rack away with bikes loaded and have full access to your truck bed so you can open up the tailgate without any clearance issues, sit down before or after your ride or just have access to the bed if you need it, and you can leave your bike rack in the hitch and not have to think about it. The AfterParty is gonna be a great option for a wide variety of bikes as well. It makes no frame contact using this dual wheel mount design here, so it's good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. And with a 60 pound weight capacity per bike it can handle e-bikes too which is impressive considering the SwingAway feature here.

Hi, everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro in seeing how it fits on the back of our 2020 Ram 1500. This is gonna be a hitch mountain, and a bike rack and a hanging style bike rack. Hanging style just means that the bike is gonna hang by the frame here off of these arms and down below the rack. The hitching Post Pro has three points of contact very similar to most other hanging style racks.
CURT Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Ram 1500
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt Premium hanging style bike rack and seeing how it fits on our 2020 Ram 1500. This is gonna be a pretty solid entry point for a hanging style bike rack although I don't think it's the best fit for the Ram 1500 and we'll get to that in a bit. But if you're still interested, it does have a lot of features and benefits over some other hanging style racks. The first one being it's got these tapered arms.
Yakima Roof Bike Racks Review - 2019 Ram 1500
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima HighSpeedhigh Roof-Mounted Bike Rack, here on our 2019 Ram 1500. Now clearly, we don't have this on the roof, but with our truck, we have a variety of different options for crossbars over the bed. We've got ours mounted onto the tracks of a tonneau cover here, so we've got that above bed storage. This is perfect for things like a bike rack, 'cause you don't have to reach up nearly as high for the roof of your truck or on the ladder rack of your truck. Now the HighSpeed here is going to be a fork-mounted bike carrier, which means we've got the front wheel off, and it's held in at this clamp front. It comes with a nine-millimeter quick-release skewer, but we'll also work with a variety of different size through-axles.
