Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - RV Mount - 8K
I am very pleased with the operation and performance of this tow bar. It is easy enough to handle, the tension release levels work great, and the built in cable holders really make for a clean operating set up. For our set up (2018 F-53 chassis pulling a 2022 Jeep Gladiator Sport), we needed a 2" drop hitch receiver. For our configuration, the Nighthawk needed to be modified because it was pulling a vehicle with the Stealth Brakebuddy: The standard 6 pin connector does not work with Brakebuddy's proprietary connector - it must use the 7-pin to custom plug cable included with the Brake buddy. To provide power to the LED array on the tow bar, I replaced the coiled cable with a simple heavy duty 4-pin trailer wire plug and cable, and connected that to the 4/5-pin connector on the RV, and plugged the Brakebuddy cable into the RV's 7-pin connection.
The Roadmaster Base Plate and All Terrain Direct Connect Tow Bar worked perfect for my 6-Speed Subaru CrossTrek. Looking forward to exploring and traveling later this spring.

Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2" - 5,000 lbs
I can only speak for myself but this model Tow Bar came along just at the right time. Recently I had some minor hand surgery that went bad and left my right hand total useless and unable to lift or hold anything in it. I had been using a regular Blue Ox tow bar, which work great but was very difficult for me to handle and hold up while connecting to toad and motor home. The Acclaim stays hooked up to the toad all the time so I only have to disconnect the one arm and swing it around to the other side and connect the one pin. With it staying connected I don't have to support all the weight of the tow bar and hooking it to the motor home with the ball hitch is a piece of cake. Before I had to support the bars with my leg and I ruined countless pairs of pants with grease spots from the ends of the tow arms. So if you are handicapped in any way this bar makes it much easier to hook up.
Arrived on time. Works on my iM Toyota. I like this better than the 2" received models for motorhomes for towing 5000 lbs or less. Much easier and quicker to connect. This hitch folds and stays on the car while traveling. Always pleased with the service from etrailer.com!

Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
The road master Falcon 2 tow bar has been great. We will be starting a new season off soon with tow bar. etrailer make life so easy.
Overall very happy with this product. It fits snug in my receiver without alot of play. It did come with a cross bar, which surprised me since none of the pictures showed it. Initially i was concerned this wouldn't work with work with direct connect base plate, the directions weren't real clear. After a bunch of research it will indeed work with the direct connect base plate. I've yet to tow since I am still installing the base plate. Will update at a later date

Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,000 lbs
Replaced an older Blue Ox with this one. This one is a big improvement and it never gets gets jammed up such that the hitch pin is difficult to remove. Highly recommended! One note: you may need to use a drop hitch receiver to get the tow bar arms as close to parallel to the ground as they are supposed to be. Read the instructions and do some measuring to stay safe!
Still working perfectly! Much easier to use than the old style tow bar we had. This thing is very sturdy and very easy to use. Highly recommended!

Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2" Ball - 6,000 lbs
Seems to be a good solid tow bar; no problems, easy to hook up tow vehicle by myself.
Works well. Took a 45 daytrip out west without any problem. I love the fact that I can hook up my jeep to my RV without assistance.
A quality product. Very easy install Used the frame mount from the same company, same review
This product has held up very well. Highly recommend

Great product. Easy to assemble/attach. Great Service, quick response. I will be back
Works as it should. I like safety cables stay attached. S hooks are rusting, not stainless steel.

etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
Upon close inspection, the tow bar appears to be extremely well made. The powder coating is evenly applied without any thick, thin, or bare spots and the baseplate adapter hardware seems to be of comparable high quality. As soon as I work out a couple of fascia clearance issues with my Blue Ox baseplate installation, I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - RV Mount - 8K
The towbar arrived in an old box whith holes covered by tape. The towbar was ok. The unit was not what I thought I had ordered and the process to return it was quick and efficient. No hassle except waiting 27 minutes on the phone for support is a little rude.
works well, easy to use, folds up out of the way. No complaints. would buy again

Tow Ready Adjustable Tow Bar, 5,000 lbs
Was well made with thick gauge metal.Great finish for good rust protection.Design is good for ease of attachment and tear-down.Am impressed with overall product. George I am impressed with you and your web page. Your written attitude is something out of the past as I am an old timer who misses the politeness of my past. Keep on being you. Love ya, Merritt Ps suggest customers buy chain package, than running around to find all the parts.
george, havent used yet. Installed the brackets on bumper, everything aligned great. Still think your great! ,
Let me start by saying you can't find a better company to work with than etrailer. I placed an order for a Blue Ox tow bar only to find out later that the tow bar hadn't even been manufactured so a reliable deliver date could not be provided. I told the sales rep that I needed the bar ASAP since I had a trip planned and needed to tow my Suzuki Sidekick behind my motorhome. They suggested I change my order for one that was in stock but was told that it would be 7-10 days before it would arrive. I placed the order but expressed my displeasure over the length of time it would take to get to me. Since I didn't want to pay for expedited shipping, I took my chances that it would arrive in time. To my surprise it can two days later. The sales rep apparently picked up on my frustration on the delivery interval and took it upon himself to make sure the tow bar got to me in time for my trip. Thanks again for such great customer service.

Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 10K
Towing a Wrangler 4 door behind my motorhome, have gone 20K miles now and no issues, i am not using the cross bar as my vehicle mount does not require that. Due to the road dust and everything it gets quite dirty of course. It has been working well along, easy enough to connect. If you have to disconnect on a hill it gets a bit tricky to unlatch and such, but just takes practice.
A year later it is still all good, getting dirty is all. Mechanism and joints still function well.
The tow bar and shipping are very good. The bar works like it is suppose to, hooks up easy and unhooks easy and pulls my 1/2 ton PU great!! Road Master makes great products
1 year later and the tow bow is still working great !!!

Blue Ox Ascent Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500 lbs
I think this tow bar will work so much better than my Falcon 2…quite a bit lighter…20 lbs….which takes the backache out of it for me! Looking forward to hitting the road!
Although I haven’t used tow bar yet I know it will just be great. Having had 2 others which I sold with motorhomes which preformed well. I am anxious to see how easy to disconnect with no binding.

Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
I purchased a 2019 Chevy Traverse because it was towable. To my dismay, roadmaster did not have a baseplate designed for this vehicle. I waited for some time and then found that blue ox had a baseplate. I loved my previous roadmaster towbar, and was pleased to find that this towbar came with the blue ox connectors. I have been very pleased with how easy it is to hook up and un hook the toad. This is much better than my previous car mount towbar. I would highly recommend this towbar.
The towbar still functions flawlessly. The connector arms still slide in and out very easily. The unit just works, and works well. I will still highly recommend this towbar.
I gave each and every one of the items I purchased a 5star rating because they each have contributed greatly to my confidence and sense of security about full-time RVing in my Class C rv towing my little car behind. Each product has been well made and thought out and the service from etrailer has been great....from price to shipping and packaging. I couldn't be more pleased with everything. Job well done. Thank you.

etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Crossbar Base Plates - 2" RV Mount - 10,500 lbs
Very well built.
This hitch was very very hard to figure out without any instructions whatsoever you have to watch a lot of YouTube movies and take ever you have one out of 10 YouTube movies is worth getting after one year I have figured out how to use the hitch properly to make it a non-binding hitch other than that the first year it was a pain in the rear hook and unhook so take a while to get used to it and a trailer didn't help me a bit with how to get used to it
Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar Installation - 2022 Ford Escape
Hey everybody, Ryan here at each trailer. Today on our 2022 Ford Escape, we're gonna be checking out the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar. So before we get too carried away talking about the tow bar, I figured it'd be useful just to kind of refresh ourselves on the five main components that we're gonna need to flat tow our Escape down the road in the first place. So you're gonna need a total of five main parts. The first one is going to be the base plate and that's there to provide us with a solid and reliable attachment point. That way we can hook our tow bar up to it.
Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar Installation - 2021 Ford Escape
Hey, everybody. How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to set up the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar here on a 2021 Ford Escape. So a tow bar is gonna be the physical connection between the motorhome and the towed vehicle. This is what the Alpha 2 looks like while it's set up. As you can see, all of our components have a nice black powder-coated finish. This is gonna help it blend in well, and it's also gonna help protect the tow bar from rust and corrosion, being that it is sorta down low behind the RV, where we're gonna get a lot of dirt and debris kicking up.
RoadMaster Falcon Tow Bar Installation - 2020 Ford Escape
Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the RoadMaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar here on your 2020 Ford Escape. So here's what our tow bar looks like installed. Now, this is what's known as a motorhome mounted tow bar. So there's two different kinds of tow bars. So there's one that mount on your vehicle and there's ones that mount on the motorhome. And what I mean by mounting on the motorhome is that's how it's stored when it's not being used.
Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar Installation - 2020 Ford Escape
Clay: Hey guys, how's it going Clay here at etrailer.com. Today we'll be taking a look at the Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Non-Binding Tow Bar with LED Lights. We'll be using this tow bar on a 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid. It's going to match the look of our vehicle and they're both going to look really nice. This is one of our key components in a flat tow setup. We have our tow bar and in this case, we have a high, low adapter.
Blue Ox Tow Bar Installation - 2011 Ford Escape
Today on this 2011 Ford Escape, we're going to install the Blue Ox Aventa LX Tow Bar, part number BX7445. With our base plate already mounted on the Escape and the tabs installed, we're ready to go ahead and install the tow bar onto the RV and then connect it to the Escape. Ideally, we'll be doing this on solid-level ground, but unfortunately, the bad weather today doesnt permit us to do that. We got the RV inside installed and pinned in to the hitch. We can now go ahead and connect the arms to the Escape. We'll then remove my pins that come pre-installed and you can see.
Blue Ox Patriot Braking System Installation - 2011 Ford Escape
Today on our 2011 Ford Escape we're going to install the Blue Ox Patriot Brake System, part number BRK2010. Our first step is unwrapping our box out of the package and installing the feet. We're going to go ahead and run these in about halfway 'til we get in the vehicle and we can set our feet height to our brake pedal. Let's go ahead and set it in the vehicle. Before setting your box into the vehicle, you want to make sure you move the driver's seat all the way back. Alright, in order to attach the arm we're going to need to jog the brake pedal clamp out so that the box does not hit the deck.
Blue Ox Base Plate Installation - 2011 Ford Escape
Today on our 2011 Ford Escape, we're going to install the Blue Ox Base Plate, part number BX2605. Our first step is to remove the two upper fasteners from the front grill, then locate it on either corner of the front grill of both driver and passenger's side. After we remove those two fasteners, we'll move over to the wheel wells and we have three pushpin fasteners on both sides to remove. This is just pushpin fasteners. You can pry this in or out and then remove the fastener assembly. There are the three fasteners here on the passenger's side.
Base Plate Wiring Harness Installation - 2011 Ford Escape
Today on our 2011 Ford Escape, we're going to install the Tail Light Diode Kit, part number 38955. First of my install, we had a small bracket here to the base plate so that we can catch our four-pole connector. Next, we need to go ahead and run our wiring. When running your wiring, you want to make sure you stay with the moving components such as the suspension or steering, or excessively, such as exhaust. We'll just use a black zip tight to secure our wire for our front bracket. Now, we're going to go to our white wire with the ring terminal.
This is the second Blue Ox Unit I have owned. The first for a motorcoach and the second to make transfers with my 3500 pickup. Love the tow bar. Much easier to connect than the receiver type - and - stows on the front of my Toyota iM. Blue Ox products are first class and I always purchase from Etrailer if they stock it because of the professionalism and service.
