For the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56217 on your 2021 Lexus RX 350L the connectors will be located in a different spot. The 10 pin connector should be located on the passenger side just below the taillight.
The 4 pin connector will be underneath the drivers side bumper cover. It may require you to use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 56083 to make that connection. The video that I linked below will help you find the 4-pin connector. view full answer...
In order to mount the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package part # HM11143910 on a 2017 Lexus LX 570 you'll need the Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware part # PK12711U. If you can' find anywhere to mount this bracket you can purchase the Curt No-Drill Bracket part # C57202 and secure it to the hitch. It may be necessary to bend the bracket as needed. view full answer...
For the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # C12172, there really isn't a solution other than to use a torque wrench. Without torqing the necessary bolts to the manufacturer specs, you void the warranty and can have safety issues when using the hitch receiver.
If you want to purchase one, I recommend the torque wrench # ALL944001 or the digital adapter # ALL940962. There are many auto parts stores that now rent tools as well if you prefer to go that route, but... view full answer...
Finding the 10-pin connector to install the Tekonsha trailer wiring harness part # 118525 that you mentioned on a 2018 Lexus RX 450h L is sometimes a bit challenging but we've had some customers come back and give us tips on where to find it.
One customer said:
"It is tucked up under the rear deck plate under the passenger taillight side. I used a mirror and flashlight to find it but realized that one I knew where it was I could feel it and pull it down just enough to plug the converter... view full answer...
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75676 is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Lexus RX 450h. We do not have any videos of the RX450h with that particular hitch receiver, but I have added the video of the installation of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13143 which is also a fit to assist. view full answer...
Thank you for purchasing Curt hitch # C13143 and 4-pole wiring harness kit # 118255 for your 2015 Lexus RX 350 F Sport without factory tow package.
We shoot installation videos as local customers bring in their vehicles. We may not always have access to a specific vehicle (or a specific version of one, such as the F Sport) to make a video for all compatible cars but we do have a video showing hitch installation on a 2015 Lexus RX 350 and this is linked for you along with the written... view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C29VV will not interfere with the kick sensor function on your 2024 Lexus RX 350h. To get it to work however, you'll have to kick to either side of the receiver instead of swiping your foot under the bumper for the sensors to pick up your foot movement. view full answer...
It is supposed to be in the area you are pointing to where the tray is removed. Since yours isn't there I would assume it's buried a little further under other tray/interior panels and you would need to dig a little further and see if maybe it settled further away and just out of reach which is pretty common. view full answer...
The best way to add a 7-way trailer connector onto the back of your 2017 Lexus RX 450h that already had a 4-way connector is with # ETBC7. This gives you all the components needed for a fully functioning 7-way and comes with the instructions, which are attached. view full answer...
Thank you for the photo; unfortunately there really is no "fix" for the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13530 touching the spare tire on your 2008 Lexus RX 350. While I can understand wanting to lower the spare a bit during the install, that can cause an issue like what you are experiencing. The spare tire is going to be directly above this hitch cross tube and so long as both the hitch and spare are properly secured and the hitch was torqued to the specs in the directions it is perfectly secure and... view full answer...
We don't have the exact wire you'd need to use but we can tell you that you can use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test all of the wires that run to the brake switch till you find a circuit that has voltage only when the brakes are applied. view full answer...
The installation instructions do not mention anything about it. Generally speaking if something is preventing proper installation of a trailer hitch, such as # C13043 for your 2015 Lexus GX 460, then the obstruction would either have to be removed or modified.
If you are talking about that cover that is directly above the receiver then you should be able to go ahead and torque the bolts down as specified in the instructions. It may cause that fascia piece to flex some but wouldn't hurt... view full answer...
Because the torque ratings can change according to the nature of the hardware that Curt sources, we don't publish the torque ratings in case they should change. I've linked to the current installation instructions for the Curt # C13143, the correct torque ratings are listed on page 5, step # 13.
If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118252 for vehicles with the tow package or # 119250KIT for vehicles without the tow package. You'll also need... view full answer...
We haven't had the opportunity to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C29VV on a 2023 Lexus RX 350 as of yet (December 2023), but I'm attaching a clip from the instructions for you to reference. This part of the instructions shows there you'll need to lower the exhaust if the exhaust tips sit in the general area of the bolt holes you'll need access to for the installation. You can compare this to what you have to see if the exhaust will need to be lowered or not. view full answer...
Absolutely correct; no drilling into the frame of your 2023 Lexus RX 350 is required, and you will use the existing frame holes to install the Draw-Tite hitch that fits, which is the following part number:
- Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT73QR
If you take a look at the cut out of the instructions of the # DT73QR I added, you can see the holes where the hitch will install. This is about as easy a hitch install as there is, because all you do is remove those rubber plugs from the... view full answer...
According to the installation instructions for the Landing Pad 30 for Yakima SkyLine And Control Towers # Y25ZR, you will have to remove the flush mounted side rails to mount the landing pads.
I do have another option for you that does not require the removal of your flush mounted rails. The 2022 Lexus GX 460 Roof Rack by Inno which uses the Custom Fit Kit for Inno # INTR152 will not require the removal of your rails.
I have included a photo of this fit kit on a Lexus GX 460 so you can... view full answer...
Your picture seems to show that the Curt trailer hitch # C11389 is installed correctly on your 2015 Lexus IS 350. Based on the design of the vehicle there isn't a way to make the hitch much higher without making some modifications to the vehicle. You will need to make sure that the muffler hanging brackets are attached to the bottoms of the hitch mounting brackets and not sandwiched between the hitch and vehicle frame. view full answer...
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75956 you were looking at for your 2021 Lexus NX 300 has a built in mount to connect the trailer connector to which you can see in the included pictures.
If you have a 4-way connector you would need the Mounting Bracket # 18144, or if you had a 7-way connector you would need the # A10-9394VP instead.
Since the connector sits behind the bumper you shouldn't have any issues with a carwash damaging it.

There's a possibility you could add enough washers to the install hardware of the Draw Tite hitch part # 75540 to allow it to fit under the rear bumper without trimming but since that would void the warranty of the hitch we cannot recommend that. Fascia trimming for hitch installs is very common, and in this application the area would be almost totally out of sight. view full answer...
I linked the referenced install video below, but it is on a 2017 RX 350. Unfortunately, we have not done an install on a 2021 as of yet so we do not have any videos of the Curt # C56217 being installed on your year. However, I did find that you may need the OEM tow package for installation as not all of the RX 350L models have the needed ports included. If you cannot locate the 10 pin connector that should be behind the little plastic removable bin inside the luggage compartment on the... view full answer...
