Installing a 7-way Trailer Connector on a 2017 Lexus RX 450h with a 4-way

Question:

Hi, Do you guys have instructions on how to convert the 4-pin to 7-pin on a 2017 Lexus RX450h with towing prep package? Id need to know where to get power for the other three wires. Thanks.

The best way to add a 7-way trailer connector onto the back of your 2017 Lexus RX 450h that already had a 4-way connector is with # ETBC7. This gives you all the components needed for a fully functioning 7-way and comes with the instructions, which are attached.

The reverse light is in the hatch, so where can I make that connection?

If the reverse circuit wire is just in the hatch, you'll need to try to access it somewhere at the top as it goes into the vehicle. You'll likely need to remove or cut off some protective covering to gain access to the harness.
