Because the torque ratings can change according to the nature of the hardware that Curt sources, we don't publish the torque ratings in case they should change. I've linked to the current installation instructions for the Curt # C13143, the correct torque ratings are listed on page 5, step # 13.

If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118252 for vehicles with the tow package or # 119250KIT for vehicles without the tow package. You'll also need a # D-4 ball mount and a trailer ball like # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball and a Hitch Pin and Clip item # PC3.
