I understand your worry Tom, and I have a couple recommendations. First is the MORryde ALLTREK 4000 Shock Absorbing Equalizers # MR89DR which has a height of 4-1/2" for the mounting bolts. This is also 6-1/2" in width like the shorter Equalizer # MR87ZR and don't worry the additional width as the shackle straps will accommodate for the difference.
If you chose either the shorter MORryde or Road Armor # LC696740 you may be able to switch to a shorter shackle strap. If you have the longer... view full answer...
I understand your confusion Tom, as your LCI4.4K axles are most likely going to have the 10" Lippert Electric Trailer Brakes # LC66WD. Lippert bases their 4.4K axle on a 3,500lb axle platform while most other manufacturers base it on a larger 3" axle tube with stronger components. This is why you are seeing the 12" brake option and as RV manufacturers often change change parts on trailers based on what is available and cost this is why you will see 2 of the same trailers with different... view full answer...
I've attached the owners manual for your 4900K model which is similar to the # MA00-04500K model. It sounds like your operator mechanism is bad according to my tech contact at MaxxAir. For your 4900K model you will want the Replacement Operator Mechanism for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus or MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vents # MA10-20281K-1AF.
If you can't even manually lift the lid, this mechanism is definitely the issue. view full answer...
Hi Adam; for a plug and play replacement that is compatible with your Dometic setup I recommend the Furrion Chill HE. This will work with your existing thermostat and air distribution box so you only have to swap out the AC unit. You can choose from the following based on Btu and color:
-Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup - 15,000 Btu - White # FR42PV
-Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup - 13,500 Btu - White # FR82PV

Hello Gary. The # DX45CR spring may work for your camper, but we want to make sure this spring is identical to the old springs. The best way to measure the current springs is to jack up one side of the trailer and measure the springs when not under a load. If the springs are under a load they can flex and give you a bit of a false measurement. You just need to be sure the new springs are identical in length to the old springs. The number of leaves is not as important as the weight capacity... view full answer...
The Furrion RV Electric Fireplace, # FF30SC15ABL has a proximity sensor and thermal cutoff safety feature. This comes into play when there are objects within 6" or less the fireplace. My first thought of why it will not come on when you have verified power is this safety feature is being engaged. view full answer...
Our closest options for the seals you have pictured are part # SR43FR and # SR63FR. You'll want to take a quick measurement of the seals you have to ensure that these will match up and properly seal your windows. I've attached pictures of their dimensions below. view full answer...
Hello again Adam! Since you have 7k Lippert axles the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570 is the correct kit. This is going to be a significant improvement over the stock suspension. For wet bolts you can use the # 34007-187-00. With the way the system works you will only need four wet bolts for this setup. Let me know if you need anything else! view full answer...
Hey John, I'd be happy to help you out!
You'll likely need the MORryde Kit # MR46ZR that comes with 2-1/4" long shackle straps, or the Kit # MR76ZR that comes with 3-1/8" long shackle straps, but it would be a good idea to double check prior to ordering. To measure the suspension bolts, you'll measure from the back of the head to the end of the bolt where the threads are.
If your trailer uses standard 9/16" diameter suspension bolts then the bolts in these kits will work. When it comes... view full answer...
The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank part # EQ90-02-4600 should allow you to tow with the tailgate down on your 2017 Ram 3500. I have attached a photo for you of this shank used with a similar system on a similar truck view full answer...
Hey Adam! From what I could find the Norcold N811FRT requires a cutout that is 60" high x 23-1/2" wide x 24" deep. I would double check your opening just to be sure. Based on those dimensions I recommend the Norcold RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer - 8.2 cu ft - 12V - Stainless Steel as a replacement. We have a right hand opening # NC73FR and left hand opening # NC63FR model. This fridge fits a cutout measuring 23-1/2" wide x 52-7/8" tall x 24" deep so it will fit your existing opening. If you... view full answer...
Hello John, thanks for reaching out. For the wet bolts you can measure the overall length or the length not including the head. Honestly when replacing this stuff, the bolts are going to be a standard length and diameter. Typically I would not even need you to measure them when replacing your suspension. As long as you get the shackle and equalizer size right, you can be sure the wet bolts that come with the kit will fit.
What you will need to measure are the shackle links and the equalizer.... view full answer...
Hey Brice, thanks for all of the information. I have a solution but I am sorry to say but there isn't going to be a direct fit replacement for your Dometic Brisk II. There's two reasons for that.
The first is in 2025 all RV AC systems had to change over to a new coolant called R32. This was a EPA mandated decision. Part of this upgrade means that nothing made with the R32 coolant in it, like item # ADV26SR you were looking at, fits any system made before 2025 that has the older R410A coolant.... view full answer...
Hello Aaron,
I have the perfect set-up for you, the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Multi Zone - 13,500 Btu - LED - White # FR87FJ. These AC units are both 13,500 BTU and will be perfect for your ducted and ductless system because they work on both, best part is that they are both controlled through a wall thermostat. If you wanted to bump it up to the 15,000 BTU you will want # FR67FJ.
I attached some review/install videos, let me know what you think about the set-up. view full answer...
Hello Michele,
I believe I’ve found the correct part for you! Unfortunately, we don’t have access to a database that tells us exactly what components are installed in each camper, though I sure wish we did, it would make my job a whole lot easier!
Based on my research, the 2018 Crossroads Zinger 280BH typically comes with a 10-gallon Atwood water heater. If that’s the case, you’ll want the Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod - Magnesium - 1/2" Diameter x 9-1/2" Long # CAM11593.
I’d recommend... view full answer...
Hey Matt!
I spoke with my contact at Lippert and they're needing some photos of the motor, including any and all data tags on the motor itself. They aren't able to find anything with the part number 080300994 that you sent me.
You can send any photos in a reply to the email you received from me! view full answer...
Hey Casey, thanks for reaching out!
We have some hitches that will fit your frame spacing, but nothing with the Class III and 500 lbs tongue weight ratings you're needing.
Your best bet would be to talk with your local trailer shop or RV dealer to see what they have to offer, but I'm also curious about the bike rack that you're using. Usually, they say something about a hitch class rating or tongue weight rating, but it's a little unusual for the requirement to be 500 lbs of tongue weight.

Hi John!
That is a very good question. You didn't mention if you are using weight distribution or not, but if you are and the Firestone # F2250 air bags you got have too much air pressure in them, it will take the pressure off the spring bars on said system. This renders the system essentially useless. This is why you always want to set the air bags to get rid of sag before setting up a weight distribution system.
Now if you aren't using weight distribution, to much air pressure can cause... view full answer...
Hey Alan, could I get you to get me the brand of your axle as well? Oddly enough the Lippert and Dexter 4,400 lb axles use different bearing combinations which is odd since every other axle capacity the bearing numbers are the same.
If it's a Lippert then you'd need a 3,500 lb axle bearing kit like the part # BK2-100. view full answer...
If your 2016 Crossroads Reserve 27BH has a 1621 pin box then yes, the Lippert 1621 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC1191191 will fit your application. If you have a different number (which can be found on the pin box sticker) or are unsure just let me know and I can help you find out what you have. Unfortunately when I have spoken with trailer manufacturers in the past they required detailed information about the trailer that only the owner has access to for them to confirm the pin box number. view full answer...
