Hello Michele,

I believe I’ve found the correct part for you! Unfortunately, we don’t have access to a database that tells us exactly what components are installed in each camper, though I sure wish we did, it would make my job a whole lot easier!

Based on my research, the 2018 Crossroads Zinger 280BH typically comes with a 10-gallon Atwood water heater. If that’s the case, you’ll want the Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod - Magnesium - 1/2" Diameter x 9-1/2" Long # CAM11593.

I’d recommend double-checking your water heater before purchasing. If you're unsure of the type or model, feel free to send me any numbers or markings you can find on the unit, and I’ll gladly cross-reference them to make sure we get you the right anode rod.

Is it possible that some water heaters do not have an anode rod? I'll just buy it through your company if it is returnable? Thanks

@KateF I'll have to look for the paperwork. It is in the camper and I'm at work. I'll get back to you. The hot water stinks so I assumed it was the anode rod needing replaced. I'll email you back when I find what the heater it. Thanks!
