Troubleshooting Furrion RV Electric Fireplace, # FF30SC15ABL with Proximity Sensor

Question:
The sec time I try use the fireplace nothing would come on. No light on front with remote or manual . It has 120 volts going to the fireplace the fuse on board is good . It has 120 volt to the board. Can you help

The Furrion RV Electric Fireplace, # FF30SC15ABL has a proximity sensor and thermal cutoff safety feature. This comes into play when there are objects within 6" or less the fireplace. My first thought of why it will not come on when you have verified power is this safety feature is being engaged.

We had put boxes in front of the fireplace and then remove them and try to turn the fireplace on and it wouldn't go on is there a way to reset the proximity sensor
