Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our synthetic rope with integrated soft shackle for your Erickson Winches. Folks, this is a 3/8 inch thick by 80 foot rated to 18,900 pounds, and it's an HMPE synthetic rope, so it's strong as steel, yet super lightweight, and much safer for you to use and handle. Now one thing I like is they do give you an integrated, what's called a soft shackle, and this has become a preferred option for many off-road recovery situations. So instead of having a hook and all that over here, they have this big ball here. This is super, super over double treated thread here and everything, and you got an eyelet here built into.
You simply go through your recovery strap or whatever you're doing and pretty much just cinch this down over it and you're ready to go. Now you could also potentially hook stuff in here if you need to. This can go big or small as needed to get through the hole there, so keep that in mind. Very common nowadays, like I said. Now this is made to withstand harsh UV rays, chemicals, extreme temperatures, those kind of things.
So keep it clean and covered when not in use just for extra protection. As you can see, the last, I'm gonna say five or six foot, I haven't measured it, is double coated here with this protective coating cover that slides up or down, and you got the stainless steel connection point here to connect to the spool on the winch itself. So once again, folks, 18,900 pounds pull capacity, 80 feet long, 3/8 of an inch diameter thick. This is the synthetic rope for your winch, specifically the Erickson Winches.
