Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Erickson Kinetic recovery rope. It's gonna be two inches thick by 30 feet long and it's rated at 51,980 pounds. So folks, it does come with a nice mesh bag like you see here. That's gonna make it breathable. So if you get your rope wet or muddy or something like that during your recovery, you can simply toss it back in the bag and then well, it'll have some extra air going through there to help get it all dried out.
So we're gonna get this taken out of here and I'm sure everyone's already thinking the same thing. Is this gonna fit back in this bag whenever I have to put it away Yes, it will. Now, they also give you a nice hook and loop strap here that's keeping everything nice and together. So let's go ahead and undo that. And let's go ahead and zoom in here so we can talk about this up close.
So as you can see, again, a nice thick two inch round by 30 feet long kinetic recovery strap. They've got the nylon coating here on the loop ends here. That's gonna be a great anchor point for your vehicle, maybe on shackles, D-rings, both shackles, those kind of things. And I do recommend using bow shackles on these ends. Those are sold separately and basically if you're not familiar with 'em, they come in, they got a bolt that goes through 'em and it's gonna give you a lot more secure connection than maybe a clevis hook or something, which you have to be a pretty big clevis hook for this to go through anyways, right As you can see, they've super stitched this and wound it up tight and they got some kind of adhesive coating over there.
It's hard as a rock. And again, the kinetic rope itself, it can stretch up to 28% in length. So basically what it's doing is you're kind of nylon rope here is gonna employ kinetic energy that gets built up when you're pulling that stuck vehicle out and it's almost gonna slingshot it out of the stuck. Now this size one's gonna be great for semi trucks, heavy duty farm equipment. Maybe if you got a heavy duty military vehicle of some sort or something like that, the girl's vehicle weight rating is up to 51,980 pounds.
Now the fact that this stretches is also gonna help prevent shock and jarring, which is common when you're using like tow straps or chains and those kind of things. Well, folks, I think that's gonna cover everything. Again, you get a nice mesh bag with it and everything as well. And again, it is a nice stretching nylon rope here built for those heavy duty recoveries. And once again, you get the included mesh bag. There's the bob and everything, it's mesh all the way around. Like I said, it's a bag that comes with it. I don't personally think it's the strongest or sturdiest. And let's be honest, like we said at the beginning, it's gonna be kind of typical I think to get this back in the bag once used it a couple times, but you never know. So just take your time, wind it back up. You get the hook and loop strap here. Like I said earlier, that comes with it. So if you get it all coiled up like this and you get it nice and tight, this will help hold it back in place to then put it back in the bag. As you can see, you also get a nice seven instructions with it as well. Well folks that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look today. Again, a max load break, strength of 103,960 pounds, and a working recovery capacity of 51,980 pounds. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
