When you’re hauling gear or pulling a trailer, rear-end sag can throw off your steering and braking. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 3,000 lbs of rear axle support to keep your vehicle level and stable. The hollow rubber springs sit above the axle to help maintain proper ride height and improve handling when towing or carrying heavy loads. They stiffen progressively as more weight is added, keeping your suspension balanced without compromising control.
Rough roads and heavy loads can beat up your suspension and your ride comfort. These Aeon hollow rubber springs act as shock absorbers, taking the brunt of bumps and potholes so your vehicle feels smoother and more controlled. The rubber construction cushions light loads while keeping enough give to prevent harshness when empty. By absorbing road shock, the system also helps extend the life of your factory suspension and reduces bottoming out on uneven ground.
When crosswinds, cornering, or off-center loads try to push your vehicle around, each Timbren spring works independently to keep its side in check. The progressive design resists body roll when swerving or turning corners, helping you stay stable through curves and gusts. That same independent action also helps when hauling uneven loads so you stay level side-to-side instead of leaning into the weight.
Adding load support doesn’t have to be complicated. This kit includes two Aeon hollow rubber springs and vehicle-specific hardware that mounts in place of the factory bump stops—no drilling required. The brackets bolt directly to the frame rails, leaving about 1" of clearance above the axle for normal suspension travel under light loads. Once installed, there are no hoses, compressors, or manual adjustments to worry about—just straightforward performance every time you hit the road.

The unloaded ride is a concern we hear fairly often with SES upgrades, so your experience with the 1" gap and rough-road testing will be really helpful to others considering these for their F-250. Now that its been a year Im very impressed with them. Theres no ride detriment without the 5th wheel attached and they do a great job of mitigating squat

That's weird. It was a little hard to tell from your pictures, are you inserting that plate from the "inside" of your Jeep?
