Ride-Rite air springs enhance your suspension for safety and stability when hauling heavy loads. They reduce strain on your axle, keep your vehicle level, and adjust to load size for better handling, braking, and a smooth ride.
When towing a heavy trailer or carrying a loaded truck bed, sagging suspension can throw off handling and make braking harder. Ride-Rite air springs let you fine-tune your truck's ride height with air pressure settings from 5 to 100 psi, keeping your vehicle level and stable no matter the load. This adjustability improves braking, steering, and overall safety for a smoother, more controlled drive.
Loading up your truck bed with heavy cargo can stress your suspension, causing sag and poor weight distribution. These air springs provide up to 5,000 lbs of support to your rear suspension, reducing strain and keeping your truck balanced for improved braking and control.
Rough roads and sudden bumps can make towing uncomfortable and unstable. Ride-Rite air springs absorb road shock and minimize sway, helping to smooth out your ride whether you're hauling equipment or towing a trailer.
No matter what you tow - an RV, a work trailer, or a boat - these air springs keep your truck level and stable. They integrate seamlessly with fifth-wheel and gooseneck setups, making them a must-have for serious haulers.
Heavy loads can shift your truck's balance, making turns and stops unpredictable. These air springs keep your suspension firm and stable, improving overall handling whether you're towing up a mountain pass or maneuvering through tight city streets.
No need to hunt for extra parts - this kit comes complete with air springs, mounting brackets, and all necessary hardware. Designed for straightforward installation, it ensures you have everything required to reinforce your truck's suspension and get back on the road with confidence. Switches and gauges, compressors, and air tanks (sold separately) are available for quick and easy air spring inflation/deflation from inside your vehicle.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at these Firestone Ride-Rite double convoluted air helper springs for your rear axle. Now, these have been designed to fit your 2024 and newer Ford Ranger, and on custom fit parts such as these springs, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, these springs have a low leveling capacity of 5,000 pounds, and they are designed to install between your vehicle's frame and rear suspension to increase safety and reduce the strain on your vehicle when you're hauling heavier loads or towing a heavier trailer. Now, the springs are going to work with your existing rear suspension system to help keep your truck level, maintain even load distribution, and also increase stability.
As you know, hauling heavier loads or towing a heavier trailer can make the rear of your truck sag in the front end rise, and this is going to put more strain on your rear axle and it's going to reduce the contact between your front tires and the road, causing problems with braking, steering control, and traction. So by adding these air springs to your rear suspension, you're gonna be able to help level your truck and improve breaking and handling, and these air springs are also going to help level your headlight beams and reduce wear on your tires. Now, the air pressure in these springs can be adjusted manually side to side to compensate for off center loads. As you know, a centered load is going to improve the stability of your truck by reducing body roll, and the air springs are also going to help absorb road shock and soften the contact between your axle and frame. That's gonna help prevent bottoming out, thus improving ride comfort, and then you're gonna route the airline tubing for the springs to your truck's bumper to provide easy access to the manual inflation valves.
Now, these double convoluted air springs are made here in the USA, and they are designed to give you maximum load support and enhance the performance and ride comfort of your truck. The rubber springs are gonna give you cushioning between your suspension components and operate from five to 100 PSI. These springs actually have four layers of reinforced rubber to ensure durability and enhanced load support. The braided wire girdle creates that double convoluted shape that you see here on each of the air springs, so that's gonna help increase the burst pressure of the spring, and the rubber springs are attached to corrosion resistant metal end plates that you see here with a time proven rolled crimp seal that's gonna keep the back securely anchored. So this includes everything that you see here on my table before me.
You're going to get the custom fit brackets, and as you can see, I have the brackets somewhat loosely assembled here on these springs just to kind of give you an idea of what this is going to look like installed on your truck. And so you're gonna get the airline, you're gonna get the hardware, everything that you're going to need to get this installed into place, along with the set of instructions to guide you through that installation process. I do wanna point out that switches, gauges, compressors, and air tanks are sold separately from this kit, but they are available for quick and easy air spring inflation or deflation from inside of your truck, and you can find those items on the related products tab on this product page. So again, the load leveling capacity is 5,000 pounds, but it is important to note that these Ride-Rite springs do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity, so you wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limit. If you decide these are gonna be what you need, we would love to hear back from you after you get these installed, so drop us a review, send us an email, give us a call, let us know how this kit is working out for you and why you got it and how you're gonna be putting it to use.
Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today, I do hope that our time together's been helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
