When heavy gear or a trailer weighs down the back of your vehicle, the rear can sag and throw off balance. Firestone Coil-Rite air helper springs fit inside the stock coil springs to provide up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support. They keep your vehicle level when hauling, help maintain even load distribution, and improve braking and steering control so you stay confident behind the wheel.
Every haul or trip demands a different setup. These air springs let you manually adjust pressure anywhere between 5 psi and 35 psi to match your load. Add air to firm up support when carrying heavy weight or let some out for a smoother ride when empty. Separate inflation valves let you balance side-to-side pressure for off-center loads, keeping your ride stable and evenly supported.
When road conditions get rough or the suspension bottoms out, these polyurethane air bags take the hit instead. They absorb road shock and soften contact between the axle and frame, helping prevent bottoming out and reducing bounce. That extra cushion keeps steering steady and improves overall comfort, even with heavy cargo in back.
Constructed from elastic polyurethane, the Coil-Rite air springs are made for years of reliable service under load. The kit includes all hardware, air line, brackets, and separate valves needed for manual inflation so you can get them installed and ready without tracking down extra parts. Replacement springs are also available for future maintenance, keeping your suspension setup dependable long term.

Other than a slight leak in the driver’s side that is not any fault of the product, this set up has worked extremely well! I’m very happy with these air bags and would highly recommend them over the AirLift1000 bags as there’s no comparison in quality! These Ride Rite bags are worth every penny!!!

Good idea taking the springs off, Joel! These can definitely be a bit of a pain in the butt with all the stuff impeding an easy install. Being able to clean the area is also nice! What are you towing with your Avalanche? Or did you want these more for regular driving?

Have you tried putting a dishwashing liquid/water combo on the area where the air line joins with the bag? This will make any leaks stand out like a sore thumb. It's extremely important that the air lines are cut precisely at a 90° angle. You can't use angle cutters, because it will crush the air line and it'll always leak....

They still function like day one after the install. Have to add air every other week, sometimes longer if Im not transporting passengers in the rear seats
