Question:
Hi, my 2014 Prius is lowered approximately 0.8inch in the rear with lowering springs I sometimes carry moderately heavy loads and wanted to install these air bags for when I do. My question is: will the installation of the air bags allow me to keep my 0.8inch when not in use installed but completely deflated or will the minimum air pressure completely deflated lift the suspension anyway. Thank you!

Expert Reply:
The Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F4136 will not raise or lower your 2014 Toyota Prius whether they are deflated to the minimum psi (5) or inflated to the maximum psi (35). Some of the benefits of these air bags include: keeping your vehicle level when you are hauling a heavy load, improving steering control/balance, and reducing tire wear.
To cut the airlines, you will want to use theTubing Cutter part # AL10530 to ensure you are receiving a secure and snug connection on all of your air line fittings.
