Hello, neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Sylvania 896 Halogen Fog Bulbs. Now, folks, this is a basic 37.5 watt. It's gonna replace your standard equipment, which is potentially a 27-watt fog light. And this is a halogen-style bulb.
It is the same grade and specifications as your OEM, most likely. You got a rubber gasket here. You got these three plastic prongs for twisting and locking in place once you've installed it, or took a new one out. You've got the plug port here to match up with what you got. Always make sure you're never touching the glass itself with your bare hands as the oils from your fingers could degrade the bulb quality and the lifespan of it as well.
Now, this gives you an impressive 3,100 Kelvin color temperature, so it means it's gonna emit a purer, more natural or neutral white color than say your OE 2,700. It is recommended you replace both sides of the vehicle at the same time. And that just means you're gonna have a consistent light level from side to side and color. These are legal for on-road use, and they meet all DOT specifications and lifespan. Well, folks, that will wrap it up for our quick look today.
Thanks for joining me. I'm Steven. Have a good one.
